Today I wrote instructions on how to do paper piecing. I'm just loving this technique and having a lot of fun with it! It's a great way to use up scraps as well ... which I have a TON of!! :)
I wrote the instructions using the card from Oct. 1st as the example ("Stack of Gifts"). After I finished the tutorial, I made another card using this fun technique with a digital stamp I bought from Wax Fruit Company. Hope you like.
"Yellow Crocus"
Stamps: Crocus (Wax Fruit Company digital stamps)
Paper: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, assorted retired DP (SU!)
Accessories & Tools: computer, scissors, Tombow Glue, adhesives and dimensionals

I printed the digital stamp three times (once on Whisper white cardstock and once on both of the designer papers). I cut out the leaves and petals from the designer papers and glued them on top of the image printed on the Whisper White cardstock. I cut the cardstock down to size and framed it with a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock.
I cut a 1" strip of both designer papers (the green one is about 1/2" shorter than the yellow). I cut a front card panel from Whisper White cardstock and mounted onto a card base of Old Olive cardstock. I mounted the strips of designer paper on the left-hand side, overlapping them slightly. I mounted the the main image overlapping the green strip and popping it up with dimensionals to add depth.
