Beaded Floret

Today's SCS Way's to Use It Challenge (WT355) is - "Just Bead it!"  I had an old stash of pearl beads that I hadn't used for ages and thought they would really be nice as the center of a flower.  I used the same stamp set as yesterday's card (Fabulous Florets) and my all-time favorite DP from SU! ... Cottage Wall.  I curled the sentiment to give it some interest.  Hope you like.

"Beaded Floret"

Stamps:  Fabulous Florets (SU!)
Paper:  Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Cottage Wall (retired) (SU!)
Ink:  Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive (SU!)
Accessories & Tools:  six mini pearl beads, bone folder, sticky strips, adhesives, Tombow glue and dimensionals

I stamped the leaf sprig in Old Olive ink onto my main panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I framed it with a thin frame of Rich Razzleberry cardstock and set it aside.  I stamped the flower head in Rich Razzleberry ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and cut it out.  I added Tombow glue to the center of the flower and then placed the pearls on top; I set it aside to dry.

I stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Whisper White cardstock and cut it out.  I framed it with a thin frame of Rich Razzleberry cardstock.

I cut a panel from Cottage Wall DP and framed it with a thin frame of Rich Razzleberry.

I mounted all the pieces as shown above, popping up the flower head with dimensionals to add depth.  I used my bone folder to curl the sentiment and then attached it to the front of the main panel with sticky strips at both ends.
