"Urban Garden Fern"
Stamp: A Word for You (SU!)
Paper: White cardstock (C.C. Designs); Urban Garden DP (SU!)
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black
Accessories & Tools: Big Shot, Fern die-cut (Cheery Lynn), adhesives, and dimensionals
Pretty straight-forward ... I just assembled the pieces as shown in the photo above, popping up the fern die-cut. The sentiment is double-stamped (sorry, hard to tell in the photo) - with Kiwi Kiss and Basic Black - gives a shadow effect, which I love.

Another quick project. I found a video tutorial on youtube on how to make pansies from the butterfly punch ... it's actually a couple of years old - I am waaayyy behind! I've looked at a lot of videos on making pansies, but I think this is my favorite so far. Thanks to Darlene Plotinksi (itsaninkinstampede.wordpress.com) for her wonderful tutorial.
Here's my pansy:

Loll, I love your negative fern card! Great look with the dp underneath. But even more, I love your pansy!! Thank you so much for the link to the tutorial on making them - I'm going to be trying that really soon!
Your Garden Fern is absoutely fabulous! Going to have to check out that die. Lovely pansy too!
I like how you used the negative space in this card. I like Kiwi Kiss, too. Thanks for sharing.
That is a very positive negative! Love the card and the pansy is adorable. Thanks for sharing!
What a lovely design! I have a different fern die that I haven't used yet, so thanks for providing me with some inspiration. I've even got a few remaining pieces of Urban Garden DSP that I may use!
The Garden Fern card is absolutely gorgeous! I also love the pansy. I have done it before, but this is a much prettier pansy. Thank you for sharing the video.
Very pretty card, I Have done this effect with a few of the dies, comes out so very pretty, love your choice!!
And I too have seen Darlenes's Pansy with the butterfly punch, I have the punch, but I can't remember if I ever tried making it. I have the Pan Pastels, I bet they would color them really pretty, will have to give it a try, thanks for reminding me about it, I see things and it is like the old saying, in one ear and out the other and forgotten!!
Take care, wonderful card!!!
hugs
