On to the card for today ... OK, so one more card for this CAS sketch from Darsie (SCS CAS Challenge - CAS180 - sketch by Darsie) ... and then I promise to move on to other layouts!! :) This also is for today's SCS Color Challenge - CC385 - real red, wisteria wonder and island indigo. I don't have wisteria wonder or island indigo inks ... so used some close colors in twine for my card.
Note: For those of you who read my blog via email, click on the title of this blog post to go directly to my blog and see the second card I made with this sketch yesterday (no notification went out by email because it was an update to yesterday's post).
I used my new (just got them in the mail this morning!!) Amy R Stamps - Sweet Sentiments ... and my new C.C. Designs "Lolli" die. Had to have that die!! Hope you like.
"Sweet 'Loll'-i-pops"
Stamps: Sweet Sentiments (Amy R Stamps)
Paper: White
Ink: Real Red (SU!)
Accessories & Tools: Big Shot, Lolli die (C.C. Designs); twine colors Denim, Maraschino, and Lilac (The Twinery), paper piercing tools, adhesives, glue and dimensionals
I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink and added a little paper piercing underneath. The main panel and lollipops are popped up with dimensionals. The lollipop on the inside panel is adhered flush.
Fun and easy card to make.

Ha, love this 'Loll'-ipop card! The bakers twine is perfect, as is the sentiment. Thanks for becoming a follower :-)
What sweet little lollipops! Cute way to use baker's twine for sure!
Well this card is adorable! I love the 'Loll'-ipops done with the Bakers Twine - what a great idea. Love the CAS style of this card --- I'm hoping to find some time to do this challenge too.
Just back from vacation and cathcing up. Great cards and love the Loll ipop. What die are you referring to? Couldn't understand the die part. Anyway, love the card and pinned it too! Thanks for sharing.
The die I used is called "Lolli" and it's made by C.C. Designs (sold at All That Scraps). They are lollipop dies which I cut with my big shot. I added glue on top of the circle part of the lollipop and then added twine, starting on the outer edge of the circle and wrapping it around in circles, finishing at the center. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!!
Love your "Loll" I Pops!!!
Adorable lollipops - not often you get to make a card with your name in it! I never seem to! lol!
Oh, how cute these lollipops are! When you started adhering the twine, did you tuck some under the cardstock? They are done so perfectly! I love the design from the twine. Just a wonderful card!
I started the twine at the bottom of the circle where it attaches to the stick (no tucking in-behind) ... the glue holds it in place
This is just the cutest, Loll! Wonderful patience to wind that twine around and around and around. Supper sounds delicious!
Very cute and creative way to use the twine! What a cool effect!
So colorful, creative and yummy! You amaze me with your creative CAS cards. I LOVE them all my friend. TFS
