"Daisy Thanks"
Stamps: Reason to Smile, Sincere Salutations (SU!)
Paper: White, Bella Rose DP (retired) (SU!)
Ink: Staz-on Black, Old Olive, Ruby Red, Real Red (SU!)
Accessories & Tools: blender pen, Nestabilities Postage Stamp (Spellbinders), glue, and dimensionals
I stamped the daisy twice in Staz-on Black ink onto Whisper white cardstock. I used my blender pen and inks to color in the flowers (for instructions on marker layering, click the link on the Techniques Page). I stamped the sentiment in black ink.
I ran my main image through my Big Shot with the second largest postage stamp nestie. I die-cut two more of the same size from the white cardstock and then glued the three layers together, with the stamped image on top (to give the die some weight). I did the same with the largest postage stamp nestie, die-cutting one layer from the Bella Rose DP and two from white and gluing them together. Both panels are popped up with dimensionals.
I stamped one daisy image on the inside panel and colored it in the same way as the main image.

Whoo Hoo..I am the 1st to comment.....your gerbera daisies are so beautiful. I will be outside again shortly to deadhead and water my flowers. Don't you love this time of year.

Great design with the two flowers and sentiment that way. I just got the flower set and thank you for another Loll Inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteLove those chunky postage layers, then the delicate flowers. Great combination.
