"Friends Forever"
Stamp: Just Believe (SU!)
Paper: White, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie polka-dot DP, Melon Mambo polka-dot DP (SU!)
Ink: Melon Mambo (SU!)
Accessories & Tools: Big Shot, Nestabilities Classic Rectangles die-cuts (Spellbinders), Large Daisy Punch and Small Sun Punch (Punch Bunch), mat, stylus, tweezers, glue, Stamp-a-ma-jig, and dimensionals
I ran my main white panel through the Big Shot with the rectangle die-cut turned upside down and a silicone mat under the cardstock. This gave me the embossed rectangle.
I punched three large daisies from each of the two polka-dot DPs. I shaped them with my mat and stylus and then glued them together, offsetting the petals (see my tutorial on how to make these daisies). I punched three small suns from each of the two colored cardstock, shaped them with my mat and stylus, cut into the center of each one, twisted them into a cone shape using my tweezers, and added a drop of glue to hold. I punched three small suns again, each of the two colored cardstock ... this time I shaped them with my mat and stylus and then glued the three layers together, offsetting the rays. I added glue to the center of the layered suns and placed three of the cone shaped suns in the middle to fill in the space.
I stamped the sentiment in Melon Mambo ink, using the Stamp-a-ma-jig for positioning.
I mounted my main panel onto my white card base, popping it up with dimensionals to add depth.
I added the two flowers, popping them up with dimensionals to add even more depth.
Easy and fun card to make!
LOVE it!Great colours and texture and still lovely and CAS. I managed FOUR in tomorrow's card (without even trying - I was trying for two and then realized that it qualifies for two more, I just about fell over! lol!)
