Hi everyone. Quick post today with a simple little thank you note. I just received my first order from Papertrey Ink (so excited!!). I ordered two of the Flower Fusion mini stamp sets and used one today. This card is for today's Ways To Use It Challenge at SCS (WT417 - Poke A Hole - use paper piercing).
I bought this set because of the plaid design on the leaves - isn't it adorable!! I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the solid flower head and the outline image stamped in a darker color. I pierced a circle to outline the flower head and then repeated the polka-dot theme with the embossed background. Simple and easy card.
Stamps: Flower Fusion #6 (Melissa J)
Paper: White, Gumball Green (SU!)
Ink: Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango (SU!)
Accessories & Tools: Big Shot, Stamp-a-ma-jig; Paper Piercing tool, template and mat, Polka-dot embossing folder (Sizzix)
Here's a close-up of the piercing:
