Hi everyone. Today I got my fingers inky!! :) I randomly sponged two shades of blue onto Whisper White card stock, squirted some water into the palm of one hand and then flicked it onto my sponged panel. I blotted up the excess water with a paper towel and then let the card stock dry. LOVE this look ... perfect for a snowy scene. I'm entering this into the Way To Use It Challenge at SCS (WT439 - Make your own Background).
I just got these beautiful snowflake dies from Impression Obsession and couldn't wait to give them a try. I cut them out with the silver glimmer paper from SU! and glued them onto my sponged panel. I added a simple frame with sentiment. Easy, peasy card ... and so pretty. Hope you like.
Here's a close up of the snowflakes:
I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of these beautiful dies! :)

Hi Loll, just trying to play catch up, so missing my blog time :(
Gorgeous card, I love the sponged background.
I have been getting inky today too so might have something to post over the weekend....wippee!!!
Will try and look back to see what I have missed.
Huge Hugs Mau xx
These snowflakes are gorgeous, so sparkly, love the sponged bg and the frame, Cathy x
What beautiful little snowflakes! And that background is gorgeous!
Beautiful background and perfect for the IO snowflakes. Interested in knowing how these cut with your SU glitter paper. I've tried my IO snowflakes with the holograph paper by Paper Cuts & with 2-3 passes, they cut smoothly. Used on some of the Paper Studio glitter paper, didn't get as clean a cut. I'm loving the way you are framing your 'scenes' lately. Makes your card even more of a 'work of art'. TFS & Hugs
Lovely Loll. I am out of town all next week so just know I haven't forgotten you! Will catch up when I get back. Hugs!
As usual your cards are beautiful, and I am learning a lot from you..
I am going to try this background on some of the cards I am making for my card exchange..
