Hi everyone. Today's card is for a "new-to-me" challenge called Merry Monday. My friend Bonnie is on the Design Team and I have been ogling her gorgeous Christmas Cards all year. Now that I'm in my Christmas card-making mode, thought I'd enter.
Here's the wonderful sketch for this week:
and I used all dies to make this card (along with sentiment printed from my computer). I had a little trouble lining up the letters perfectly ... but it just goes to show that this is hand-made :) I used some pretty Christmas Designer Papers from last year that I've been hording. Happy to be using more designer paper as my "collection" has gotten out of hand!! :)
Here's a close-up:
Paper: White (C.C. Designs), Be of Good Cheer DP - retired, Silver Glimmer (SU!)
Accessories & Tools: Big Shot, High Rise Alphabet - lower case (MFT), Tree Die from Holiday Cheer set (Sizzix), Holiday Shapes - star die (Simon Says), glue, adhesives, and dimensionals
This is ingenious, Loll! It's amazing to see the different takes on this sketch! I'm so glad you decided to join us at Merry Monday! And good job on using some of the decorative paper.
ReplyDeleteLove the card Loll and if it lined up perfect, well, heck, you might as well buy a card. That is what makes handmade cards special. Hugs!

I am really liking the way you are interspersing these embellishments in the center of your words. This is lovely. Had you not pointed out that your letters were not perfectly aligned, no one would notice! I still had to look pretty hard to see what you meant. This is just a very pretty & clean, elegant card. TFS & Bonnie's cards are marvelous. You are both such an inspiration to me! Hugs
ReplyDeleteAn absolutely brilliant interpretation of the sketch! And a perfect CAS card - I love it!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh Lol, this made me do a little happy dance! It's so clever - think all my Christmas cards are going to be either this one or your gorgeous Joy poinsettia one.....they are both amazing. What inspiration.
ReplyDeleteHugs.
