Hi everyone. Here's a CAS card I made a while back, but didn't get a chance to share with you. It's a quick and easy card using embossing folders to create patterns on the different packages. I wrapped each one with some twine and added a simple sentiment.
Stamps: Snowman Sayings (Amy R)
Paper: White (C.C. Designs)
Ink: Soft Suede (SU!)
Accessories & Tools: Big Shot, Snowflakes embossing folder (Cuttlebug), Stripes embossing folder ... and Adorning Accents embossing strip (Sizzix for SU!), Maraschino twine (The Twinery), Stamp-a-ma-jig, glue, adhesives and dimensionals
Today is the start of a video-advent-calendar by my friend (and fellow Design Team member at Addicted to CAS) Christine (Das Kartenchaos). Christine is a very talented card maker and I always look forward to seeing her cards. Not only is she sharing a fabulous card everyday with us ... she also includes lots of great tips that will make your card making easier.
There are also fabulous sponsors, great prizes and lots of inspiration for your Christmas cards. Click here to check it out!!

What pretty packages with the embossing and pretty twine!
I love your CAS design for these cute Christmas gifts! The sentiment is so pretty and the pop of red from the twine is the perfect touch! Love it!

Loll, this is so beautiful. Love the CAS look and the red twine you wrapped each present with.
Hi Loll, I had a quick peek at this one earlier but didn't have time to post a comment, so back I am! Loved your idea of the gift packages done this way. So effective, and this is one pretty card. Your red & white ties really set off the nifty embossing on each package. Clever idea. TFS & Hugs
The textured packages look fantastic. Love the stripey twine too and the variety in your tiny bows. Cathy x
Thank you for the inspiration. I hope it's alright that I pretty much duplicated your card to send as my Christmas card this year. I was looking for something quick, simple and elegant and your card was perfect! It also let me use up my paper scraps from previous projects!
