Hi everyone. Quick and easy CAS card today ... this only took me about ten minutes. That's a record for me as I'm usually so slow. I love how happy this turned out :)
This is another layered stencil card. Here's how I made the card ... placed my daisy stencil on my card front, sponged leaves and stems with green and the flower heads with coral. Laid my polka-dot lace stencil over top of the flower stencil and sponged with white pigment ink. The white polka-dots make this fun and whimsical set of flowers even more fun. :) The sweet sentiment finishes the card.
Can you believe that I just bought my very first pigment ink?? Crazy, huh?? I've never learned much about inks, usually buying the water-based dye inks from Stampin' Up!. But I'm going to branch out and I'm looking into the Distress inks from Tim Holtz, Pigment inks from Hero Arts and also will look for some alcohol-based inks too.
Oops, hit post before I added the info about the challenges. I'm going to enter this into CAS-ology #92 - cue word: Garden, and also Simon Says CAS Challenge. And because this makes me smile, this will be my second entry into Less Is More #168 - makes me smile. :)

Beautiful Loll! I don't know what I'd do without my distress inks - am getting better now at using them not just for stamping but for colouring too. The new mini's are a good buy and they come in colour co-ordinated sets - check them out!
This makes me smile too! I love those pretty coral polka dotted flowers!
This looks amazing Loll!
It really makes me smile.
Thanks so much... as ever!

The polka dots add so much to the card - it's very cheerful!
This is so pretty, love the layered stenciling u did , especially the idea of polka dots is darn cute :)
So sweet and creative with the stencil layering. I have to try soon :-) Pigment inks are great for adding EB powder and heat embossing. Just be careful......they dry slowly, so easy to get smudges. Not a bad idea to give them a quick touch from your heat tool when NOT heat embossing. I am intrigued by the distress inks. I actually have 2 or 3 Tim Holtz that I need to get out. We sure have fun, don't we my friend?!?
I hope alcohol inks will be in my future too. Hugs, nancy
So pretty Loll, love the double stencilling:)

Love your dotty flowers - great stencil layering and CAS design!
How pretty Loll! I love how the polka dots gives your flower some whimsy!! I love Hero Arts shadow inks and TH distress inks and you will too. I don't do much with pigment inks as they take so long to dry or you have to heat set them, of course they are good for heat embossing, but I am looking forward to seeing what you do with them. You always inspire!! Hugs
Bright and colorful card Loll - love the polka dots.
Love this and the little polka dots liven it right up!
This is such a fun card...love those polka dots and how you created them! The Distress Inks are fabulous...lots of great techniques they can be used for and I do love my pigment inks...the coverage is wonderful. Have a wonderful weekend!
So fun and whimsical, Loll ... love the effect of the polka dots! I just recently got a few distress inks ... and have been having so much fun with them ... with your awesome skills, you'll love them! Anita :)

Wow, I long to make a card in 10 minutes! :) I'm so slow! :) I love this cute stenciled flower!! If you get any of Tim's Distress Inks, you'll LOVE them. They are great and so versatile. And alcohol inks are very different. I have not used the ones I have nearly enough, but I do love the polished stone technique with the metallic mixatives. It makes such a pretty background. Maybe someday I'll try some other techniques with those alcohol inks!
Love how you added polka dots to your flowers and leaves...so clever and the color combo is very pretty, Loll!
Great idea to polka dot your image, so pretty and perfect CAS.
