Hi everyone. Time for a new challenge at ATCAS ... this one is chosen by our wonderfully talented leader, Kylie (Kylie is Addicted to Stamps).
She has chosen this code word ...
ATCAS also welcomes a new Guest Designer for October ... welcome to the very talented and creative Hannelie (Desert Diva)! I hope you'll take some time to check out Hannelie's amazing blog which is packed full of unique and inspiring cards ... you'll be glad you did! :)
A while back I inked up some copper metal sheets with a mix of yellow, red and green alcohol inks. I made up a couple of large pieces while I had the mess out and used one of those today to cut this large maple leaf. I sponged mesh stenciling on the background and finished it off with a small sentiment to try to balance the large leaf.
I'm entering this into Virginia's View Challenge #8 - Clean and Simple. I love making CAS cards and was so excited to see this challenge! :)
I see that my colours are perfect for the Autumn's Bounty colour challenge at Less is More #192 ... so I'm entering :)
Stamps: A Little Sentimental (Clearly Besotted)
Paper: White (Neenah)
Ink: Alcohol inks: Honeycomb, Poppyfield, Botanical (Ranger); Distress Ink - Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy (Tim Holtz)
Accessories & Tools: Copper, Large Leaves #2 die (Cheery Lynn), Textured Mesh stencil (Memory Box), Sponging tool with felt pads
