Hi everyone. My plan was to post watercoloured cards once a week as a reminder about the current CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers. But I'm obsessed with watercolouring right now and it seems that just about every card I've been posting lately is watercoloured. :) There's so many wonderful watercolouring techniques to try! :)
The card above is made with the Saturated Watercolouring technique. It's fun and easy to do and probably a lot of you have already tried this. I've done a video tutorial and posted it below for those interested (both cards shown in this post are made using the piece of watercoloured paper from the video). The craft mat from Ranger makes it so easy to do these techniques and it wipes up easily too.

Here's the second card using this technique ...
I hope you're inspired to join in the fun at Happy Little Stampers Blog and share your CAS Watercolour cards.
I'll be back with a reminder next week with another CAS Watercoloured card using a different watercolouring technique. Stay tuned! :)

When I surf to this blog, I'm always so amazed at what you've shared. This gorgeous card is no exception! The brilliance of the butterfly coloring against that crisp white looks as though it should be displayed in a gallery. Loved the way you've done the body in white and against the filigree of the die. It's just so lovely. I'm off now to see this technique...don't think I've heard of it! I also wanted to add that your 'inspired by another blogger' idea is uber wonderful, and I'm going to be borrowing your thought. It's such an encouraging way to let another blogger know what their work has meant to you. Happy wkend, and Hugs. (I'm behind in visiting, so playing a little catchup this evening). Thx for doing the video too. Love when you share those!
ReplyDeleteLoved the video! I'll be trying this technique soon! TFS
ReplyDeleteWhat a great video Loll!! I will have to get some re-inkers to try out this technique. I love the look of it. Both of your cards are beautiful, love the butterfly die cut out of that lovely paper and I love the background on the second card. So vivid and pretty. Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteLove, love the saturated color with the white lacy elements on your cards, Loll. I just may have to get some reinkers. Darn. ;-)

ReplyDeleteFab video and a gorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these cards are gorgeous, Loll! Loved the video and hearing your voice as well as learning the technique! Love these colors!
ReplyDeleteSaw these over at HLS. Love all the white die cuts on the watercolored BG. Great video. I love this technique, but usually just press my ink pads to the mat a couple times and spritz. I don't have that many re-inkers.
ReplyDeleteAn easy-to-follow video of a technique that I 'might' be able to accomplish...although I don't have any re-inkers...yet! More items for my wish list. Your cards: S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G! The butterfly...swooning, swooning!
ReplyDeleteHugs~c
