Hi everyone. Hope you are having a wonderful Easter long weekend. Today I'm sharing the tags I made for the treat bags I gave to my kids last night --- also made one each for hubby and me too :)
Since I was making several tags, I opted to just make them all the same. :)
These chicks from Paper Smooches are so adorable. I stamped them on yellow card stock, sponged around the outside edges with a dark yellow, which gives them visual depth. Then I used my SU! marker to colour in the orange accents, which I coated with clear wink of stella for a little bit of sparkle. The eyes were paper pieced and then coated in glossy accents. A little piece of yellow gingham washi tape at the bottom and a fun sentiment finished them off. :)
We had a lovely pot luck dinner with the family last night. We always get together at Easter and this time we were also celebrating hubby's 60th birthday. It was a really fun time.
I'm entering these into the ATS&M #138 - Holiday Challenge. :)
Stamps: Chubby Chums (Paper Smooches); Sweet Sentiments (Amy R)
Paper: White tag (Neenah), Daffodil Delight (SU!)
Ink: Black (Memento); Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie (SU!); Basic Black marker for outlining all fussy-cut pieces (SU!)
Accessories & Tools: Stitched Tag die (Paper Smooches), Clear Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, Raffia, Washi tape
