Hi again. This is my second post for today because I made two cards I wanted to enter into Merry Monday's Challenge #152.
And I'm posting both of my cards into the ATS&M #138 - Holiday Challenge.
I started this card the same as my earlier card posted HERE. I used some of my homemade sprays to create the turquoise and lime backdrop. Then I stamped a pine branch a few times and the Peace sentiment in Versamark ink and heat embossed in white. I was happy with how the card looked, but thought it was a little flat. So I went back with my Dazzling Details clear glitter glue (LOVE this stuff!) to add in some sparkle. So pretty in real life. I've included a close-up so hopefully you can see a bit of the sparkle.
Two more Christmas cards for my stash - YAY!!
Paper: White card base (Neenah); Watercolour (Arches 140 lb. cold press)
Ink: Versamark
Accessories & Tools: Yellow and Green (to make Lime), plus Turquoise Liquid Watercolor Concentrate (Dick Blick), mister bottles, water, Frost white paint (Tsukineko), white embossing powder, heat tool, dazzling details clear glitter glue(SU!)

ReplyDeleteGreat blend of your homemade sprays! You really captured the colours from the challenge. Love the white branches and sentiments over it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Loll! Love the white on that scrumptious background! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteI love this one too, Loll! You make it hard to pick a favorite! Thanks for sharing again this week at Merry Monday!
ReplyDeleteI love both cards, Loll, and of course I have now bookmarked the video on how to make the sprays - you enabler, you! I have a question if you have time to answer it in one of your posts. Do you find the dazzling details glitter glue different and/or better than the stickles diamond or crystal glitter glue?
ReplyDeleteHi Maura. I'll PM you as well, but wanted to answer your question. I like the dazzling details better than the clear stickles (I have both), but it might be a personal decision. I have no idea that comparison of price, so can't speak to that. I have never tried crystal glitter glue ... hmmm ... something for me to look into :) We enable each other :) xx
DeleteGorgeous card. Love the background and the white pine branches :)
ReplyDeleteA winner if I ever saw one. Stunning clean and simple card. Gorgeous background. Is it watercolor? You don't have to answer that. It really doesn't matter because it's so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAnother beauty, Loll ... the shimmer and sparkle is simply wonderful! Joyeuses Pâques! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteYou made Lime and Turquoise look so lovely and elegant Loll!
ReplyDelete....Sighh....utterly, completely, totally stunning!
