July Challenge Reminders

Hi everyone.  Just a reminder that the three challenges at Happy Little Stampers are open until the end of July.  I've made a card for each one. :)


First up for the CAS Challenge (and also for the HLS Sketch as well). :)

I created the background using the Stencil Monoprint technique with yellow and pink sprays on mixed media paper.   I inked my stamp with markers, spritzed with water and stamped over top (watercolour spritz technique) .  Then I used a waterbrush to move the colours around a little to create this very loose, watercoloured image.  So soft and delicate.  I thought it looked like a watercolour painting, so I framed it. :)

Next the Sketch Challenge (and also for the HLS CAS - Stamping) ...

This large bouquet of flowers is stamped onto watercolour paper and watercoloured using distress inks and a water brush.  I added glossy accents to the "glass" bowl.

And last for the Christmas Challenge (and also for the HLS CAS - Stamping) ...

I stamped with waterproof ink onto watercolour paper and then used distress inks to watercolour.  I splattered the background with some diluted white acrylic paint.  So fun and easy to do. :)


All three challenges is open for another couple of weeks, so there's lots of time to play along.  Come join in the fun!!
