Hi everyone. Today is the start of the Happy Little Stampers August Christmas Challenge.
Christmas cards are one of my favourite cards to make ... and I do love to add a little bit of sparkle and shine. :)
I used a die borrowed from my friend Susan (Cardmaker's Garret) to cut out this pretty ornament and then used turquoise glitter paper for the backing. I cut out the "Merry" from the same silver foil paper and also from white and stacked them together to create a thicker sentiment. I stamped the word Christmas and heat embossed in silver and added a silver bow to finish.
A simple CAS Christmas card. :) So simple that I made a second one.
I hope you'll check out the challenge HERE to see the rest of the cards from the wonderfully talented Design Team.
It's never too early to start making Christmas cards ... so come join in the fun. Any style of card is welcome, just make sure to add a bit of sparkle! :)
Since I used a snippet to die-cut my "Merry", I'm heading over to the Snippets Playground for a visit. :)
Stamps: Christmas (Simon Says)
