Heat Embossed Sunflower
Hi everyone. Another card made with my new sunflower stencil. I'm having lots of fun playing. :) Check out my two earlier cards using this stencil HERE and HERE.
This time I started with a watercolour spray background I had in my stash. I first used my anti-static bag to go over the front panel of my card. Then I placed the stencil over top, and pressed with my Versamark pad. Clear embossing powder was poured over top, and the image was heated until the embossing powder melted.
Love how it gives just a little more colour to the image. Very subtle, but pretty. I couldn't capture the shine from the embossing powder on my whole card photo above, so I'm sharing a pic below that shows some of the shine.
Tomorrow I'm going to move on from my new stencil for a little while. I'll be sharing something completely different. Make sure to come back and check out my latest video tutorial. See you then!

I have enjoyed this mini series using this fabulous stencil. Another great idea today and yes it does change the colours slightly (plus point x) and the embossing certainly gives it shine. Thank you for sharing this fabulous card. Love the black card sentiment against the gorgeous colours ...works so well x
That is one fabulous stencil Loll, and you have shown it to it's best advantage . . . not just once, but THREE times! Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve for us next! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend! Hazel xx

OMG...Gorgeous heat embossing with clear powder thru your stencil :-) I have not tried that technique yet.....hmmmmm! I can hardly wait to see your new video too. Loving all your sunflower stenciling Loll. TFS all your cards and your close up of this beauty. A big hug, Nancy
wow - love this one too - the shine is so pretty - thanks for all the inspirations for using one stencil!
That worked beautifully! An interesting variation on what I want to try next week with a stencil, Versamark, and Perfect Pearls! I love the subtlety you achieved (and the gorgeous summery colours).
Gorgeous card Loll! The embossing really brings out the vibrant colors of your watercolored panel, I am loving the subdued part of it and the vibrant colors on the flower part. So gorgeous! You got a hit with this sunflower stencil that Bonnie sent you! Oh boy, can't wait to see what tutorial you have for us!! Hugs, Brenda
How you come up with so many new and different ways to use the same stencil is just amazing! Each one is so beautifully done and SO imaginative. It's such a pleasure to see your posts, Loll!
Wow! Loll, another beautiful card. Your creativity is amazing! TFS
These sunflower stencil cards are all glorious, Lolly, but this one is my fave! In person, it must look like fire is shining through from the back! It's perfection!! Hugs, Dolly
I am flipping out with glee over this beauty Loll - it is brilliant - the shine and the colour choices make this award winning. Love and thanks so much for sharing.
Oooh, I love the shimmer on this beautiful sunflower with this technique! Gorgeous background, and lovely sentiment...I like how the font mimics the swirls in the petals of the flower...so clever, Loll!
You've certainly got value out of this stencil, Loll, and so have we! We've been treated to three fabulous examples of using a stencil. Gorgeous!
A third beauty, Loll ... the subtle texture on this one is gorgeous ... so lovely to see so many delicious cards from one stencil ... used by one uber talented card maker! Hugs, Anita :)
I really enjoy seeing all the different ways you find using this stencil. I should do this too, instead of using a product once, then putting it aside and moving on to the next!
Love the subtle effects of the embossing powder!
You are so clever using your sunflower stencil in so many amazing ways, Loll!!! This is another fabulous card and it must be so beautiful IRL with the lovely shine!!!! And this time with a sentiment on black - looks wonderful!!!!
