On a Roll ...

Hi everyone.  As my title says ... I'm on a roll! :)  After struggling for many weeks after my surgery, my mojo is finally back and I'm having fun creating.  Most of the cards you have seen over the past while were done before surgery, a few after.  The ones done after took many tries to get something I was happy enough to share with you. :)

Today I just had fun playing.  This is a very CAS one layer card with the colours of Autumn.  I used a tree stamp that actually has a swing hanging from the larger branch (which I masked off).  I did the no-line watercolouring technique ...  happy how it turned out. :)

I stamped the image in crumb cake ink (light brown) and then watercoloured over top with many different colour of distress inks  I made this specifically for a challenge being hosted by my friend Karen (Snippets).  This is for the One Layer Simplicity challenge ... Red, Orange and Yellow.

I'm also adding this to the gallery at CAS Watercolour October Challenge - Autumn.

And I'm adding this to Paper Player #317 - CAS with Leaf.  Haven't played there for a LONG time, so happy to renew myself with the challenge.  Went there after seeing Hannelie's DT card.  Thanks Hannelie!

WOW! This one jumped at me Loll! What caught my attention was the gorgeous wood grain you achieved in your tree trunk and did it with watercolor to boot! Just gorgeous! Love that sentiment!

I believe your mojo has come thundering back if this is any indication! What a stunning fall tree. I think this should be framed and used in your fall decor. You did a wonderful job with the watercolor. I love the soft autumn colors.

What a beautiful tree - it immediately made me start reciting "I think that I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree" I had to google it to see who wrote it - Joyce Kilmer.... anyhoo !! LOVE your tree and the wonderful watercoloring on it - so glad you are feeling more like yourself now! Julia xx
