Paper piecing using Stencil, Heat embossing
Products: Distress Inks: Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Pine Needles (Tim Holtz). The Merry Tree stencil (ARTplorations); 'Tis the Season' patterned paper (My Mind's Eye), Christmas Sampler stamp set (Paper Smooches), white embossing powder, heat tool. Crinkle ribbon dyed with Peacock Feathers,
Salty Ocean and Pine Needles.

ReplyDeleteI do love those strippy trees - haven't made a try of them yet myself, but they always seem to find their way onto a Pinterest board or SCS favorites folder. Your mini-tree on a tag is really whimsical and fun.

ReplyDeleteI adore your pretty patterned paper tree against that splash watercolour background Loll and the ribbon so beautifully coloured with Distress Inks in that gorgeous colour combination. The stencilled background on Shirley's tag looks great with the sparkly tree and the cute deer, and the little stitched slope finishes it perfectly. x
