Watercolouring with Distress Stains

Hi everyone.  Sharing another card made during the craft retreat.  This technique is water stamping with distress stains.  Susan (Cardmaker's Garret) led the "class", using Heather Telford's wonderful video tutorial.

I love the softness of the watercolouring, and am happy with my first try using this technique.  I added some splatters and a sentiment to finish.

Stamps:  First Blush (Penny Black); Gratitude (Penny Black)
Paper:  Watercolour Paper (Arches 140 lb. Hot Press)
Ink:  Distress Stains:  Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon (Tim Holtz)
Accessories & Tools:  Water mister, paint brush for splattering

    Your watercolouring with stains turned out so beautifully Loll. It was so fun watching you color and see your finished card IRL at our retreat! I will be posting my finished card (I added splatters too) in a few days. Still can't believe we were just together with Susan and Christine for 5 days :-)

    So glad you used this beautiful card you made at our retreat! It is just gorgeous - fabulous colours, wonderful splatters! Not to mention you used the technique I led at our retreat!! I enjoyed doing that so much!

    So soft and beautiful! And great splatters! I just practiced on those in a card I made and the card ended up in the bin... :) I had all of them in just one area, not a good look! I hope you are well! xxx
