Summer Blooms

Hi everyone.  I just bought this gorgeous new stamp set from Simon Says Stamp called "Bouquet of Thanks".  I had to have it after watching this amazing video by Amanda (Little Crafty Pill).

I first heat embossed the flowers and sentiment with gold embossing powder.  Then I watercoloured using my zigs and added a few sequins for some sparkle.  I'm sending this to a friend's daughter who is dealing with serious medical issues right now.  I hope it will cheer her up a little.

I'm adding this as my second entry at The Flower Challenge #10 - Embossing Heat/Dry.  I heat embossed the flower image and sentiment. :)

Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

  26. It will most definitely bring cheer to your friend's daughter. And I hope you don't mind, but this reminds me of the blog header you created for me. It's a beautiful card. And I still smile when I look at my header! The sequins add just a little bit of a wow factor, too. Very pretty. Bev
