After I fussy-cut my zig'd (is that a new verb??) flowers, they curled up into little tubes. I used temporary tape to adhere them to my craft mat and then place a weight on top. It did flatten them a little, but I still needed to add lots of adhesive to get them to lay flat.
I stamped a sentiment first, after figuring out where in to line it up within my thin, stitched frame. Then I popped up the frame and adhered the flowers on top. It was fun colouring on vellum and I will do that again. Thank you so much for the inspiration Colleen!
Here's a close-up.
I hope you'll check out Colleen's blog (One Smile Lifts a Spirit). She is very talented and I know you'll enjoy checking out her cards.

love your card Loll - and even more the new word "zig'd" - definitely needs to be added to the craft vocabulary!!
Beautiful Loll. So pretty on vellum. Love your soft peachy color. As pretty as Colleen's.
This is beautiful, Loll. You are talented, too. [Bunny]
Stunning Loll and a great interpretation of Colleen's card! Have a lovely weekend! Love & Hugs. Hazel xx

Beautiful CASE of Colleen's card! Love the way you kept the layout similar and worked in the stitched lines.
Your bamboo roses were the perfect choice for stamping on vellum! I love your color palette, too! Thanks for sharing your tips on using Zigs :)
This looks so beautiful, Loll! I've had no luck coloring on vellum and even embossing on it gave me fits. I bow to you for doing that and succeeding so perfectly with the case card. It's gorgeous!
You are inspiring me to try coloring on vellum with my Zigs. Your flowers and CAS design are so beautiful, Loll. TFS Hugs
Love how you coloured those florals here Loll. Simple and stunning. Don't think I have ever coloured on vellum. I must try it. You have case-ed your friends card beautifully. Thanks for the inspiration.
Very successful zigging on vellum, Loll! Absolutely lovely outcome!
Loll so glad you did it because it looks stunning. Now I need to do one just like that with the same flower, its so so pretty, you have done so well. What a brilliant card.
This looks beautiful, I love your vellum roses they look so delicate. Great new word too .... I'll remember that one!xx

Lovely card, Loll! Well worth the effort to try and flatten the image after coloring and cutting the vellum. The soft colors are beautiful.
Beautiful CASE of Colleen's card, Loll. Thanks for reminding me of coloring on vellum. I need to tack a list of techniques to my bulletin board where I can see them all the time.
I remember Colleen's beautiful card very well! You have CASEd it perfectly, my friend! I've found coloring on vellum is very tricky. I've also found that there is a difference in vellum. Thanks for the tip about not using water. I'll have to give this a try again using your tips. Beautiful colors!
I remember Colleen's card too and yours is every bit as GORGEOUS as Colleen's was! Love how soft the colors are on the vellum but still bold enough to show up! When you mentioned about the vellum rolling up, I wonder if it would help to place them between copy paper folded in half and then run through your big shot (or whatever you use to die cut with)? I do this with water color panels now because they can be so warped sometimes, and running them through my big shot really flattens them out...just a thought. But anyway, lovely, lovely card and nice shout out to Colleen!! :0)
So delicate and so pretty. Love the softness of the vellum. Gorgeous take on Colleen's card x
Great tip...thank you x
Fabulous card, Loll, great CASEing of Colleen's card. Thanks for tip about working with vellum. xx
Beautiful, Loll! I love the flowers on top of the popped up frame! Beautiful colors, and thankful that you passed on those tips!
What a gorgeous case of Colleen's pretty card! I guess I'll have to add coloring on vellum to my list of techniques to try...! Love the soft look of it!
What a beauty Loll - a tremendous CASE. Love the sentiment in the box and the flowers on the edge - a great concept
Blessings
Maxine

You did a brilliant CASE of Colleen, Lolly! Now I want to CASE your CASE!! I've colored on vellum before, but not since I got the Ziggies and it looks like they are perfect for it!! Hugs, Dolly
