Holiday Bouquet

Hi everyone.  Sharing another watercoloured Christmas card.  This one uses a new-to-me stamp that I HAD TO HAVE after seeing this beautiful card done by my friend, Colleen.  Isn't it lovely??!!  I immediate went shopping on-line and bought the set, matching die, and another by the same company that Colleen has used lately. :)  Thanks for enabling me Colleen!

I absolutely love my new set of four partial die-cuts that I got from AliExpress.  I have used mostly this honeycomb one (my fav. of the four), but all of them are great.  I love that it just adds a little something special to the upper corner of this card.

The image is heat embossed in liquid platinum and watercoloured using distress inks and a water brush.  Some extra shading was added using watercolour pencils.

    Gorgeous watercoloured poinsettias, Loll. Did you fussy cut or does the set have a coordinating die? If you fussy cut..I am totally impressed! Love your partial die cut corner. Such a beautiful CAS design my friend. TFS Hugs

    Oh Loll this is a BEAUTY! Love the die cut panel and that awesome poinsettia stamp taking pride of place. After seeing all the gorgeous floral creations over at CAS Watercolour I have to get in and play with mine. Off to a card class today so tomorrow I will be in my playstation having fun.     Once again I'm just amazed at your incredible watercoloring, Loll. That corner die is beautiful! Got one from Tim Holtz and never used it so thanks for this wonderful idea! Had no clue Aliexpress had it. Guess I need to learn to dig harder in there. Fabulous card and that die adds just the right amount of interest yet the card is still CAS.

    Another gorgeous poinsettia card, Loll! So beautifully painted and the colored pencils add a bit more shading! Love the open work corner. I have some of those dies and need to remember to pull them out. I love the look of them!

    Your 'iris' card will be jealous, Loll. This is so fabulous. I have a set of dies similar to that from TH and forget to use them. They really make an impact but still keep the card CAS.
