Hi everyone. Just a reminder that we are half way through December already. There's still just over one week left to play along with the CAS Mix Up December Challenge - Anything Goes.
Haven't had a play with Brushos for a while, so it was time!
I created this background using a few different shades of green and blue ... and a touch of yellow. This was all on watercolour paper.
First time using this beautiful tree die from AliExpress. Cut it out of white and popped it on top of my dry Brushos panel that was cut down to size. Added a simple sentiment banner with a staple.
Check out the challenge blog to see the reminder cards from our Guest Designer Hideko, and the rest of our talented team.
Since this is has a watercoloured background, I'm entering it into the CAS Watercolour December Challenge - Anything Goes, as well.
Stamps: Sentiment - Where the Heart Is (Simon Says Stamp)
Paper: White card base (Neenah 110 lb.); Watercolour (Arches 140 lb. cold press)
Ink: Brushos; Peacock Feathers Distress Ink (Tim Holtz)
Accessories & Tools: water mister, Stencil Tree die (AliExpress), staple

ReplyDeleteGorgeous Brusho background. So vibrant allowing that beautiful tree die to pop. I wish I was better at shopping at AliExpress... I just get so overwhelmed and seem to see the same products in a loop. 😂
ReplyDeleteI hadn't played with Brushoes in a while either, Loll, so I got them out Friday night and played around. I didn't quite the results I was looking for or had achieved before. Nothing like the vibrant panel you have that looks so fabulous behind that white die cut.
