I added a layer of orange watercolour and then a layer of pink on top to create lots of variations in the colours. I only used one colour of green for the stems and leaves. To finish, I tore a piece of vellum and heat embossed "hello" in gold to match.
Here's a close-up ...
The first card I watercoloured is below. I heat embossed the images in lime green. I LOVE how it turned out. I used dark teal to watercolour the flowers and green for the leaves. When I started this card, I wanted to cut out a shape and pop it up on a white background. I had seen a lot of heart cards done in February that were filled with flowers and wanted to try that, but didn't want to use a heart. Instead I used one of the Label dies from Spellbinders. Once I had it cut out, I didn't like it on the white background, so popped it up over the background with the rest of the images. Just a little different design for the card.

both cards are wonderful Loll - love the dimension on the 2nd card
Hmmm, ask me and I'd have to say I love them both equally, Lolly! Brilliantly watercolored in both instances and I love the popped up section of the second card design!! Hugs, Dolly
Pretty - gotta get my Zigs out! Thanks for inspiration!
Simply beautiful, Loll ... both of them! Gorgeous watercolouring ... couldn't choose a favourite between the two ... though I am rather smitten by the lime green embossing ... it's so unexpected and delicious! Hugs, Anita :)
I love seeing your painting on your gold embossed images, Loll! Love your soft color choices! I was not even aware there was lime green embossing powder. How beautiful that is! These are fabulous!
Oops ... came back to say how delighted I am you're sharing this vibrant beauty with us at Time Out, Loll ... thank you! Hugs, anita :)
Gorgeous cards Loll - difficult to choose a fave. Your colour choices are awesome! x
Wow...both very striking cards Loll. Love the colour combinations on both of them. So vibrant, fabulous water colouring and effects you have achieved are amazing. The second one looks great with the added interest of the die cut popped up x
Beautiful cards. Love them both. I like how you used the same stamps but made them different with the colors and sentiments.
Both of these are gorgeous, my friend! Love the orange with the pink! Beautiful together and with the gold embossing! And the blue flowers with the lime green embossing are just as pretty! Love the way you have cut part of the design and popped it back on! Very interesting!
Gorgeous Loll, the colours are so bright and cheery. I love the embossing images, gold always looks stunning, and this lime green one is spectacular. That colour combo is wonderful.
I love blue and green so your card totally caught my eye in the Gallery!! What a fab idea to emboss these in green, I really must get myself some more embossing powder colours because these look incredible. I struggle colouring with the Zigs but you seem to be a natural and love the combo of pink and orange too. So very happy you shared these with us at The Flower Challenge!!
I just love the red and green watercolours of your first card! Not only the colours, but also the sentiment is beautifully bold and drew my attention in the Time Out gallery... Thank you for joining us again at TIME OUT!
Beautiful cards, Loll! That first one is so very pretty in pinks and gold. The golden hello is beautiful. The second one in blues and greens is very striking. I like the dimension, too. You are so good at what you do! Thanks so much for sharing. Hugs!
These are both stunning, Loll. Love both of them. Brilliant way to do the sentiment on the first. Really adds to the soft look. Thanks so much for playing along at Time Out.
Oh my...these are both absolutely GORGEOUS Loll!! I think I might NEED that stamp set!! Love the colors on both and especially like the label die you included on the blue and green card...very clever!! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! :0)
Your watercoloring skills make these flowers gorgeous in any color, Loll.
Two Gorgeous Zig watercoloured floral card designs, Loll. TFS your beauties and for your detailed descriptions. I love how you combined your orange and pinks on your 1st card and your popped up die cut label on your 2nd card. TFS my friend. Hugs
These flowers are so so pretty Loll and both the reds and the blue tones look fabulous, and both finished so beautifully. I adore the embossed sentiment on the vellum and then the patterned die cut matching up and making a continuous pattern which is a great idea. x
I was going to say I love the first one best cause its my favourite colours but then the second one is just as stunning and eye catching and since they are both with my favourite Altenew flower I will have to say equal first, love them both in design and colour. Wonderful my friend Thank you so much for joing us at The Flower Challenge Aileen DT
Two really beautiful cards, Loll. I couldn't possibly make my favorite!!
Both are awesome, in design as well as in the gorgeous colors & with your fab watercolor skills. Love the idea of popping the focal image up with the label die as you did in #2.How subtle & well you've placed that popup too. While I love the pink shades of #1 with the gold embossing, the lime embossing really sparkles so well with the teal coloring. WTGo! TFS & Hugs
Gorgeous cards Loll :-) Both of them are absolutely stunning! I love the colours on both, so pretty :-)

Both of your cards are absolutely beautiful, Loll! So clean and elegant! How fun to emboss in green! I never think to do an outline image in color.
Both cards are simply beautiful Loll. Amazing colouring and how clever to use green embossing powder on the second one. Love it popped.
Two stunning cards, Loll. The colouring is beautiful, as always. I love how you've popped up the label on the second card, looks so effective. xx
These cards look wonderful! I share your love of orange with pink so that first card makes my heart beat faster! And I always adore the sentiment on a strip of vellum, especially when it's torn. The flowers embossed in lime green and colored in teal look so fresh and pretty. The popped up panel os a great idea!
Oh my Loll! These are truly stunning!! I love how you have coloured them, and that vellum strip for the sentiment is genius, allowing the piece to still shine through! Have a lovely day my friend! Love & Hugs. Hazel xx

Gorgeous cards Loll .... beautiful watercoloring too. I must say if I had to choose a favourite it would be the first one .... love the colour tones, but that doesn't mean the second is any less beautiful. Have a lovely weekend my friend xx
Love your gorgeous Zig watercoloring, Loll. Both cards are so pretty, but I think the shine from the gold embossing really gives it a touch of elegance. xx
Two beautiful cards. I love how you painted these flowers, the first card has an even stronger gradation of colors, it looks stunning.
Hugs,

Oh my goodness. These just stopped me in my tracks as I was scrolling to find that purple beauty that I found in my mailbox. Thanks so much for remembering my birthday, my friend. And what gorgeous creations you've come up with with these fabulous Persian motifs. I don't know which I like better they are both so perfect.
