As always, please join us by making TWO CARDS, following the word prompt above, and the guidelines below.
I have used the same tree stamp from Darkroom Door for both my cards. The first card is a friendship / encouragement card; the second, a Christmas card.
For the first card, I started by stamping the tree (bare branches) in soft brown. Then I used a leaf sprig stamp to add leaves all over, filling the tree. I added a small grassy area at the bottom of the tree, and a large, bright sun shining in behind.
Here's the close-up ...
The second card uses the same tree, this time heat embossed in silver, over top of an Inka Gold smooshed background from my stash. I used a white gel pen to add some snow along the branches and along the sentiment "peace", which is also heat embossed in silver. A snow hill die-cut is added at the bottom and I finished by splattering diluted white ink for falling snow.
Here's a close-up ...

I've been following you for a long time. I just love your cards and tutorials. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Hello Loll: Thank you for having me as your Guest Designer on this fabulous and fun Challenge, I had loads of fun creating my Twofer cards.
Yours are awesome, totally different but equally gorgeous.
Love how you embossed that tree on your Winter card, the sky background you created is beautiful.
Your Spring/Summer card is so inviting, you can feel the warmth of the sun in the background.
Big hugs,
Maria Rodriguez.
Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic work, Loll. What an amazing look to both trees. You really showed the versatility of the image. Wonderful scenes! Thank you so much for sharing. Hugs!
Two uniquely beautiful designs with one stamp. A lovely summer day depicted in the first and a frosty winter day in card two. Fabulous!
Lovely card. That bare tree stamp clearly has a lot of possibilities!
Wonderful tree, Loll! Love those tiny leaves with the soft, spring colors and the warm sun shining down! Very different from the icy winter scene. Both lovely and a great way to use this stamp two ways!
These two designs should be used for calendars, Lolly! You have created delightful spring and winter scenes using the same tree! It's a wonderful lesson on stretching our stash simply by switching up a few elements! I love them!! Hugs, Dolly
Awesome use of the tree image. I love that you made a summer and a winter version using it.
Both cards are just stunning Loll! I love the Christmas as one, it is so elegant and serene. Your other card is just so fun and serene too, I swear I can feel that sunshine shining down on me. A great use of this one tree on two very different cards! Hugs, Brenda
Who would have guessed that both your trees were the same stamp. Such creative and beautiful ways to use your tree image, Loll. I love your added leaves and green accents on your 1st card and your gorgeous watercolored sky and snow for your Christmas outdoor scene on your 2nd card. TFS my friend. Hugs
Gorgeous cards, Loll! On your first card, I love how your sun is shining on your lovely tree and how you stamped the leaves with various shades of green! Your Inka Gold background is so striking on your 2nd card, and I love that you chose silver EP for the tree! You have certainly inspired me to play along, once again!
So inspirational Loll and beautiful too.
Faith
Each is beautiful in its own way!! Great use of the leaf sprig stamp to add the leaves to the bare branch stamp in the first. And of course, I love the second one with its gorgeous blue, white, and silver - I can feel the chill of winter in it! Good idea to edge the sentiment with the white gel pen to make it stand out more.
Great way to use the same tree stamp and it looks completely different. The first card is full of sunshine, vibrant, great stamping and great sentiment. The winter card is so atmospheric and absolutely fabulous x.
What a gorgeous Twofer. I love the bright spring colours on the first one but I have to say the second card is stunning. The added snow on the branches looks fab and I love snowy sky xx
I just love your style! Your first card looks so sunny and fresh and the sentiment is perfect for it! Hard to believe you used the same tree for the beautiful wintry scene! Great designs!
Both cards are so gorgeous and totally different, Loll! Love your beautiful coloring - the beautiful shades of green for the leaves, the smooth grassy area, and the large yellow sun.
And what a fantastic snowy background for the second card! The Inka Gold smooshed sky with spattered falling snow is just amazing! (not to mention the details of the tree and the sentiment!) Love both cards! Hideko xx
both are great cards, but I must admit I do like the winter one with your amazing smooshed background.
wonderfully done cards mf...each one unique.
xx Karen
Beautiful cards, Loll. The first so very bright and luminous, with the perfect sentiment.
The second is so very clever with the hint of Inka gold. A beautiful silver embossed tree is simply so appropriate for the winter scene. Both so very different, love them xx
A warm summer card with the bright sunshine. Your leaves are so well done with the shading. How different the tree looks embossed in silver. It looks beautiful on the Inka Gold background with the snow falling. I love them both.
So striking! I love trees, and both of these are just yummy. Especially love the 2nd one with the smooshed snowy sky background. It looks very icy too. The green is so pretty with the sun shining in the corner, and looks much like what we are seeing around in our area just now. Love the leaves the way you've placed them on the branches...very lush & full. TFS & Hugs
Simply stunning Twofer cards Loll. I love seeing how one stamp can be used in such different ways.
Your tree looks amazing on both of your cards, Loll! I love how you added the leaf branches so perfectly - they look like they are part of that stamp! Your wintery background is gorgeous, and a great background for that frosty silver tree!
Two terrific twofers, Loll! You’ve covered both ends of the season spectrum with your lovely tree under the warmth of the summer sun and your frosty winter Christmas card. No surprise, I LOVE your ‘blue’ Christmas card!... the inka gold background is stunning and embossing the tree in silver gives it a wonderful chilly effect. Great job! xx
What a beautiful, fully leafed tree, Loll, resplendant in all it's sunshine covered foliage! Showcased in it's winter environment, all silver embossed and snow covered, it's dramatic and striking ... gorgeous against the frosty, chilly looking background! A delicious Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
The silver tree in a snow storm is so gorgeous, Loll. The sun gives a glow to the hill and leafed out tree. Fabulous tree cards.
The first card really has a wonderful sunny glow in itself. A wonderful and such an energizing card. The second card shows the amazing sky background. I love them, it is so diverse, restless. Two amazing cards, each tree looks different. Great cards !!
Hugs,
BożenA
