I love to watercolour, and I have a beautiful and easy stamp set and matching dies to create my poinsettia cards. Last time I used this set, I mentioned in my post I was going to stamp a bunch more images and play with watercolouring. And I did. I have four cards to share today. I made multiples of a few, so managed to make six cards in total. I also used a piece of designer paper AGAIN and wanted to use up the entire 6"x6" piece. I hope this is becoming a habit because I have LOTS of Christmas papers. :)
I varied the designs slightly and also varied the colours of the poinsettias ... some red, some pink, and some in-between.
Here's the close-ups ...
Paper: Mixed Media (Strathmore 140 lb. 400 Series);
Ink: Reinkers: Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzazz (Stampin' Up!); Archival Black (Ranger); Black (Memento)
Accessories & Tools: Holiday Bouquet matching dies (Avery Elle), water brush, white gel pen, glossy accents

Your Poinsettia's are gorgeous, Loll! Beautiful watercoloring, and I love how you included holly and berries in your design! Love your striped papers, too! Thanks so much for inspiring us with your designs...I am definitely going to play along again :)
The perfect CAS card. I love how you centrally composed all the elements. The stripe panel is a beautiful background for your unique poinsetti. I also love the next cards, which are built of the same elements, but otherwise arranged create a completely different look of the cards. Great presentation, Loll.
Just love your poinsettia cards Loll...your colouring is beautiful

Wow...what a fun and efficient way to get several beautiful Christmas cards made at one time! Love how you watercolored the poinsettias, as always, and the use of that snazzy looking design paper.
Lovely, lovely cards Loll, and I'm loving that simple striped DSP that you used on all your cards...what a difference just a small strip of DSP can make! Your water colored Poinsettia's are all beautiful too and I can see why you like that simple stamp...so easy to color but so striking too! Can't wait to dig out my Poinsettia stamps and play along with this challenge!! :0)
Love all the different layouts you achieved with the same poinsettia - a great demonstration of getting the most out of a stamp. All are beautifully watercoloured. And a great way to use up small bits of DP!
Your shading is impeccable, Loll! I'd have never thought to use that on a patterned background but it looks so festive on that! This is so beautifully done!
Thanks for giving us this great idea on how to use some of supplies of patterned paper. I know I have way too much. It is so hard not to hoard our paper instead of using it.
Now you are spoiling us..... Do so love your water colouring in the pretty pinks/reds and it goes so well with the paper. Great colour combination, great layouts and great use of the papers x

I love how you put the stripy paper behind it - gives it a modern twist.
I get bored making the same thing over and over so I love how you used the same images and paper to create a variety of layouts, Loll. Each one a beauty.
