Hi everyone. It's time for the July Ruloph Days. Yes, I know it's August, but Rudolph Days was delayed by a week as Maureen, who runs the Rudolph Day challenge, was on holiday. Hope you had a great vacation Maureen!!
Today I'm sharing an pretty ornament die-cut that I bought recently. I used a small piece of leftover embedd brushos that I made when experimenting with this technique. Always great to have pieces like this in my stash to make a quick and easy card. :)
This comes as all one die (except for the silver top to the ornament. I cut it from white card stock and then cut it again from my brusho piece, which is inlaid. The top was cut from silver foil paper and adhered to the top of the ornament. Everything was popped up with foam and adhered to my card base which had a stamped sentiment.
Here's a close-up ...
Stamps: Everyday sentiments (AliExpress)
Paper: Watercolour (Arches 140 lb. Cold Press) for ornament; White (Neenah 110 lb. card stock); Silver Foil (SU!)
Ink: Brushos: Turquoise, Ultra Marine; White Pigment ink; Pacific Point ink (SU!)
Accessories & Tools: Snowflake embossing folder (Cuttlebug), water mister, Lavinia Snowflake Ornament (Poppy Stamps)
Challenges:
Rudolph Days - July (extended to Aug. 7)
A fabulous card - I love the brusho bauble.

Such a beautiful card and fabulous inspiration. I bought some pixie powders a while ago which I've been waiting to use, and this has given me lots of ideas. I want to thank you for sharing all your creations, I have spent a good couple of hours trawling your blog and it has made me think about a lot of the items I already own and how I can use them. I can't wait to get started.
ReplyDeleteHappy Crafting.
