Close-up of second pull...
For my first pull of the image, I had very deep colours of red and brown. I thought I'd just add a little gray sponging to the background in the center mostly behind the tree. Well, the clear embossing I did on top didn't catch all of the Brusho crystals and when I added water to blend the sponged gray, quite a bit of red bled. Again I used a damp paper towel to smooth out the colours. Wasn't happy with the card as a whole, so cut it down and framed with an oval card front. I was able to save it in the end. :)

Great save on the first pull to create a very nice card with the oval framing. But it's the card made from the second pull that I'm swooning over. Love the soft sponged backgrounds and the perfect depth of colour on the branch!

Paper towels are one of my favorite tool! They have saved more than one card here! Love this image using this technique! The soft yellow gives the tree a lovely glow! I love it cut down and in an oval window too! Two very different cards!
Having just purchased this stamp I'm thrilled with this card, so inspiring! Love how the Brushos blended when tapped with water. I cannot wait to try this and hope to achieve half as good a result as you did. Love that you got two cards from it too.

Such two beautiful cards, Loll. I need to see the tutorial carefully, because I do not understand how you worked with powdered dyes. But the effect is great. I love both cards, each one has something that catches my attention.

I'm one step closer to trying this technique, Loll. If I wasn't leaving town for a couple of weeks there'd be no question that I'd have a card made.

Marvellous save on the second stunning card. The oval die cut has framed that unique flower/tree stem beautifully. Wow on your first two cards. Stunningly beautiful and so artsy. Wonderful water colour effect and the prettiest of colours x
Like I said before, you are one successful technique lady. These two are no exception. ...and you save, what probably was already a beauty, alone. Both make me happy since I've pinned this in my techniques. So much to try, thank you for sharing all these approaches.
