I was really happy with the intense colours. Adding just a little water means the colours are not diluted. I used Brushos, but this would work with any powdered inks.
Because there was still lots of ink left on my stamp after my first impression, I did a second pull. Even the second pull has lots of colour.

This was fun and a fairly easy technique to try. I think the success is partly the image you use, so try a few different silhouette images. I hope you'll give it a try.

These are both so BEAUTIFUL Loll...love the intense color, even on the 2nd pull!! Did you use Brusho's on the stems too, or something else? Lovely, lovely cards!! :0)
Hi Marcia. Yes, I used Brushos on the stems as well. It's important that you only mist lightly with water to activate the brusho crystals, but not end up with a blurred image. Loll :)
I love these easy and really sensational cards, Lolly! The colors stayed vibrant with your light watering, but I have to say, your second pull is my favorite! It's so cool that this technique worked well enough to get two great cards from one inking!! Hugs, Dolly
They turned out beautifully, Loll. I think your addition of the second coat of Versamark and the embossing powder really added to the original technique. I'm going to try it again and do that. They are wonderful autumn notecards!

Another amazing cards, Loll! Great technique, I've already read the tutorial on how it's done. But I have a question, are you applying brushos to the stamp? I know you need to dip the stamp in Versamark, but I'm not sure about applying dye powder.
I have to try this technique because the effect is bewildering, just like your cards, LOLL.

I may have to get a silhouette stamp just to try this, Loll. Getting two cards, and both looking beautiful, is a bonus.
Wowsers, these cards really pack a punch, the splatters do complete this stamp. You must of had so much fun doing this. The second pull is different but equally beautiful to the first. The berries look real and I love the variation yet fluid results. Thank you for the "how-to" details. xx
