Really happy with how it turned out. You may have noticed I fussy-cut the image. That is after messing the top area with some red ink ... and then black. Thankfully I enjoy fussy-cutting. :) In the end I think this turned out even better with the background stenciled with Sparkle Texture Paste falling snow. It's super sparkly!! :)
Tore two snowhills from white card stock, sponged the edges with soft blue ink, and placed at the bottom. Stamped the sentiment in red, masked it and then added the glitter paste over top using a palette knife. Once dry, I simply adhered the image to the card front.

So cute this Santa and reindeer Loll, with a lovely snowy background - must remember torn paper instead of die cutting snow edges.. I think fussy cutting is an art, and quite handy to eliminate whoopses. Adorable card
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous little card, those die cut images look super upon that embossed snowy background.
ReplyDeleteCreative wishes Tracey.
Absolutely adorable image watercolored beautifully. I kind of like it better fussy cut. I know die cutting is the thing to do, but I don't always enjoy the white border. This looks fabulous. It's so sparkly, too! :)
