I stamped the solid poinsettia image onto mixed media paper using tea dye distress ink. The medium brown base added to the colours of the poinsettia and greenery. I then used a water brush and more distress inks to watercolour the petals (festive berries, barn door, fired brick) and greenery (peeled paint) over top of the tea dye ink. To finish, I stamped the sentiment that comes with this stamp set, in black ink.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

Just stunning Loll!!
This one's a beauty Loll! I love the color you achieved even with the tea dye beneath...soooo pretty! And thank you so much for the lovely Christmas card that arrived today...BEAUTIFUL!! I hope you and your family have a blessed and very Merry Christmas!! :0)
Simply beautiful no line stamped and Distress Ink watercolored poinsettia, Loll. Love the added sentiment. TFS Merry Christmas, my friend. Hugs..Nancy
Gorgeous no-line watercoloring, Lolly! That's a fabulous stamp for the no-line technique and I love that it takes up a lot of the card front so a simple sediment is all you need to finish it off! Holiday Hugs, Dolly
Festive and elegant! I wish I could get these results with the no-line watercoloring!
Wow is this ever beautiful. And to think it's all hand painted! Amazing. No clue how you did the fine needles of the pines so neatly, Loll. And worse, I spy another Penny Black stamp I may not be able to live without. Just gorgeous!
Oh, so very lovely! The poinsettia is so pretty!
Interesting how the Tea Dye ink deepens the colours! A beautiful card - I love how you've overlapped the sentiment.
Gorgeous! Did you first wet the tea dye ink and fill the image or did it just bleed in as you added the other colors? I tried no-line watercolor only once and picked an image too detailed. I lost all the definition. I love that this image is so open and simple to keep the sections separate so it doesn't become one big blog.
OMGosh, Loll - this is simply stunning.
Absolutely, perfectly gorgeous! Love it so much.
Oh I love this image!! and you colored it beautifully.
Hope you are doing well : )

What a fab poinsettia Loll, you can't beat it for a little bit of festive colour. :)
BEAUTIFUL! I love how this looks, Loll. I have got to try no-line stamping more seriously than I have - it never seems to work for me. Great color and great design here. Hugz
This is stunning ..... I must practice my no-line watercolouring in the New Year.
