I used two new dies for my card today. I started with the background die of two deer with a stitched frame. Cut from white card stock, I adhered a small piece of Inka Gold Smooshing from my stash to fill in the background. I placed the panel on my warm grill and sprinkled with Chunky White Frantage. I love how it melted to create the falling snow with a bit of texture. To finish, I cut the peace from white card stock and sponged the top with Mermaid Lagoon ink, lightening the pressure as I moved down the letters. This was to create a ombre sentiment. Not sure it's ombre, but I like how it turned out. :)

Wonderful design, Loll. I love the deer die cut, looks great against your beautiful sky. The way you've coloured Peace is so effective. xx
OMG Loll, those two deer are adorable. I might just have to get that die. Your background is a perfect snowy day, and love that sentiment in shades of blue and white :)

Beautiful background for your sweet die cut framed deer, Loll. I love how you added your Frantage using your warm grill. Sure prevents the snow from blowing all around. Your die cut and Ombre colored Peace is a beautiful final touch. TFS...Hugs..Nancy
I love that die against your Inka Gold background. I can envision to young fawns playing in the snow. What a gorgeous gradient you achieved in the sponging of your die cut "peace." I have a hunch mu wish list just grew again and you should be entitled to a commission from the things I bought after seeing your cards.
Sweet deer pair in frame, Loll, and I just love the ombre peace sentiment! So delicate and pretty and perfect over the wonderful blue sky you created!! Thanks so much for having me as guest designer this month!!
This is sooooo cute, Loll! The gorgeous blue Inka Gold Smooshing background with the Chunky White Frantage falling snow is the perfect background for the adorable deer playing together in the snow. Striking card, Loll. Love the colour (of course). That inka Gold background is gorgeous especially with the frantage (need to get me some of that). Also love your ombre inking of the sentiment. To top it off, you just checked two NBUS dies off your list. xx

Definitely a peaceful setting. What beautiful blue nuances along with the spatters of snow. The simple framing truly adds to the dimensional word die. Beautifully done, thanks for sharing! xx
A beautiful card Loll, the scene definitely evokes peace! I love the inky sky with snow gently falling. I think I need me some of this Chunky White Frantage stuff as I've seen so many use it and it is so pretty. Love how you made your sentiment ombre and it is looking pretty ombre to me, or at least giving the look of ombre! Love everything about this card! Hugs, Brenda
The Frantage adds a great snowy look for those darling deer to romp around in, Loll.
