CAS Mix Up Challenge. February's challenge is being hosted by the super talented Hideko (

Today's card uses the Hidden Word technique (also called Camouflage Die-cut Technique as well as other names).
I'm happy with how this turned out. This floral image from Penny Black is perfect for creating a soft, delicate watercoloured image. I used markers to colour the stamp (one colour at a time), spritzed with water and stamped, then blotted with paper towel. It has a very soft look. The word LOVE was die-cut from the center and popped up with foam so there's lots of dimension.

ReplyDeleteSometimes I think the hidden word is too hidden, Loll, but the layout of your lovely flowers makes the word visible enough to read without taking over the card.
