Happy 40th Anniversary Gord!

Hi everyone.  Just a quick post.  Sorry I've been posting so much lately, but have had A LOT to share. :)  Today is my 40th wedding anniversary!  I wanted to share the card I made for the sweetest man on earth, hubby Gord.  He loves blue, so a blue heart it is!  (my dear friend Dolly enabled me)!

I did a quick smoosh of blue magicals for the background, and stenciled with gel medium (specially make for deco foil transfer) through a stencil.  Once the gel turned clear, it was ready to add the turquoise foil on top ... fed it through my laminator ... voila!  Gorgeous!  Added a vellum banner with silver heat embossing to finish.

Here's a view so you can see the true colours and shine ...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit!

Stamps:  Thoughtful Messages (Simon Says Stamp)
Paper:  Mixed Media (Strathmore 140 lb. 400 Series); White card base (Neenah 110 lb.); Vellum
Ink:  Blue magicals (Lindy's); Versamark
Accessories & Tools:  water mister, Swirl Heart stencil (Clear Scraps), gel medium (Decofoil), turquoise foil sheet (Decofoil), Heat Laminator (Scotch Brand), sukver embossing powder (Ranger), heat tool
