Hi everyone. Today I'm sharing a Clean and Simple card using a beautiful die-cut from Penny Black 51-428 floral arrangement, along with a simple sentiment from the versatile sentiment stamp set 30-358 happy snippets.
This die-cut is so beautiful. I used a stamp earlier this month that is very the same design, only larger. The die-cut gives a whole new way to create with this beautiful floral arrangement!I started by watercolouring the mixed media paper die-cut using Distress inks and water. I used two shades of green for the leaves and two shades of purple for the flowers. I blotted with paper towel often to keep the colours soft and delicate. The sentiment is stamped in the lightest green ink several times to get just the right colour.
To finish, I used my stylus and mat to add shaping to the flowers and leaves and then strategically placed pop dots to emphasis the shaping before attaching the watercoloured die-cut to my card front.
