I started with a Penny Black stamp that I recently bought, but believe it might be older stock as it was wood mounted. I just loved the row of trees, heat embossing them in white. After masking off the bottom, Lindy's magical spray was used to spray the sky. These have a lot of shimmer that you'll see in the close-up below. Water droplets where added over the sky and then blotted with a paper towel to create some visual texture. A simple sentiment was stamped in silver ink to finish the card.
Here's a close-up ...
Stamps: Christmas Park (Penny Black); Christmas Sentiments (Penny Black)
Paper: Mixed Media paper (Strathmore 140 lb. 400 Series)
Ink: Versamark; Lindy's Magical Spray - Delphinium Turquoise; Delicata Silver ink (Tsukineko)
Accessories & Tools: White embossing powder (Ranger), heat tool

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Lolly! For some reason this brought back memories of being in a parking lot on an early winter's evening when you need your lights on, but just barely and you've come out of the church or the school auditorium after a program of some sort to see the fresh snow, heavy on all the trees. Thank you for the quiet moment of reflection! Hugs, Dolly
