This die does two different things ... it has the usual areas of cut-out design, which are the scrolly silver bits of the card, but also has flowers and leaves that are partially die-cut leaving them attached. Very cool! I allows me to colour the flowers and leaves and then pull up the edge to add dimension.
I used zigs to watercolour the flower and leaves. Silver foil paper is behind the die-cut that you can see through the cut-out scrolly bits. :) So very pretty! The sentiment is silver embossed to go with the silver foil paper.
Here's a close-up ...
The bright spring colours make for a happy get well card!

ReplyDeleteOMG..Loll, Gorgeous die cut corner PB flowers and scroll design. I Love how the flowers only get partially cut so you can pop up a bit. Elegant with the silver foil peeking thru the die cuts. Your Zig coloring is beautiful too. Can you share the name of the PB die? I saw the name for the beautiful sentiment. Thank you so much for sharing my dear friend. Love and Hugs, Nancy

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty die, I love how it adds dimension to the flowers xx
ReplyDeleteWhen I look at the card I have the impression that these realizations are ombre and only the description explained that it is a silver foil. A wonderful idea for combining silver and hot shades of orange and green.
