CAS Christmas July Challenge

Hi everyone.  Start of the CAS Christmas July Challenge - Snowflake, hosted by our sweet Bonnie (Stamping with Klass).

We are also excited to have Jane (Onions and Paper) are our Guest Designer this month.  Welcome Jane!

First time out for this snowflake ornament.  I thought this would make a great shaker Christmas card, although I find shaker cards tediuous to make.  I ALWAYS end up with glue everywhere, including my fingers and then things just start to stick together where they shouldn't. :)  This one wasn't too bad.  Only had that happen once while making it. :)

Layered white die-cut ornament, solid acetate (cut to fit), foam (cut to fit) ... adding the sequins, then another layer of acetate, and the final layer of white card stock ornament.

I stamped the sentiment in delicata silver and added silver cording to the top.

Here's a close-up ...
I hope you'll check out the challenge blog to see the snowflake cards from our AMAZING Designers, along with Jane's beautiful snowflake card.  Then come play along!

I'm skating in at the last minute to join up with the Jingle Belles - Snow Much Fun challenge.

  20. Beautiful card Loll, I love that snowflake die and it makes a great shaker. I know what you mean about shaker cards, my problem is the shaker bits get stick on some glue from somewhere. lol Still I do like making them although I don't do it often. Love this one as a shaker, so pretty! Hugs, Brenda
