Hi everyone. Today I have three quick and easy CAS cards featuring two of the new stamp sets from Penny Black's Merry and Joy release.
First up is hopping by (30-626), and hopping by cut-out (51-577). This bunny is such a cutie, I just couldn't wait to ink him up. :)
I started by stamping the image in black ink and heat embossing in clear. I used distress inks (Spun Sugar, Candied Apple, Evergreen Bough, Pine Needles) and dye ink (smoky slate from SU!) to colour the bunny and packages. I die-cut using the matching die (hopping by cut-out 51-577) before adding the white polka dots to the scarf with a gel pen.
The background polka dot paper is from Penny Black's festive and frosty paper pad (80-017). I cut the panel to size, added a torn piece of white card stock for a snowhill, stamped the sentiment which is part of the hopping by stamp set in Candied Apple ink and then popped the panel up on foam on my card base. I added some foam to the back of the die-cut bunny before placing him on the panel, with his feet just slightly buried in the snow.

And I'm sharing two cards from dainty doves (30-604) ...
Two CAS cards using the same design with different dove images. Started by stamping each dove design onto white card stock with black ink and clear heat embossing. Fussy-cut the images and sprayed with a glimmer mist. Heat set to dry.
Using a piece of the patterned paper from festive & frosty (80-017), cut the 6"x6" paper in half and then in half again, creating four 3" square pieces. Just using two with these cards, keeping the remainder for another project. Stamped each of the doves onto the 3" square patterned papers in black ink, again heat embossing in clear.
Used Pine Needles and Candied Apple distress inks to add some details to the branches on the patterned paper pieces, and some highlighting on the white doves. Pieced the white doves over top of the patterned paper, popping them up with pop-dots for added dimension. I wanted to have just a little of the tail of the dove to go outside the square aperture. Stamped a sentiment (christmas sentiments stamps set 30-504), at the bottom with black ink and heat embossed in clear so it matched the rest of the stamping.

Second card using a different dainty dove ...

... and I'm going to share a side view so you (hopefully) can see the dimension of the doves ...
I hope you enjoyed my quick and easy CAS designs using these adorable stamps.

Super cute first card with one very adorable little bunnie. Great colouring too. Classy and beautiful peace dove cards and the dimension looks fabulous. Love how the tails just peep over the die cut squares. Sorry I've not been around...Life getting in the way and then my computer broke...It was only a build up of dust on 'important' internal parts but they took two weeks to find the fault! Stunning cards Loll and thank you for the wonderful inspiration x.
Gorgeous cards using these two new stamp images and I love the cute and beautifully coloured bunny which works so well over the polka dot background and love the torn paper for the snow slopes, and adore the bright red ribbons and tags which pop on the finished card. The second and third featuring the sweet dimensional doves and again another great paper design for the backgrounds have been highlighted perfectly with red and green DI's.
That little bunny with his gifts is adorable, Loll! I love how his presents coordinate with his scarf and the background. Great job on the subtle coloring of the bunny too.
The doves are so elegant! I hadn't spotted them in the release but I have my eyes on them now. Love the sparkle and the embossed edges that really make them pop!
Beautiful CAS Christmas cards, Loll!! Love the cute bunny and beautiful doves!!
Three lovely cards, Loll. Love how you used the same colors in the images as the pattern papers. Fabulous cards.
All three cards are beautiful, Loll. They are so tastefully designed using your foam for dimension. All three are perfectly painted too. The bunny is too cute and the doves are wonderful!
Such a cute bunny and I love your snowy hill and polka dot details, Loll! I also love how you added sparkle to the doves and your choice of patterned papers are perfect on all three cards! You've totally inspired me to get going on my Christmas cards today...Thanks! Barb xx

Oh what an adorable bunny on your first card Loll, and so beautifully presented too. Loving the sparkly doves on the second two cards, and especially the dimension, and the fact the first one had it's tail our of the window
Blessings

ps special thank for your card and stamp x
Wow 3 stunning cards! The bunny is adorable and your colouring is perfect. This is my favourite Christmas colour scheme!
So creative with these colour tones and pattern papers. Lots of imagination to these beautiful cards. Love the dimension too. The small pop of red here and there is the accent that beautifully finished these designs. xx
Three fabulous cards - love that dp you used, and the sparkle on the doves is beautiful. The bunny is so sweet, and I love the red and aqua colour combination.
A gorgeous trio, Loll ... love the cool mint/aqua with the pops of red! That little bunny is adorable ... and the doves are a wonderful combination of folk art and elegance! Hugs, Anita :)
This card has so many striking details. I love the sweet dotted background, also how you buried the bunny's feet in the snow ... This card is so cute, Loll. The next two cards bring to mind folk motifs ... a nice idea.
Hugs,
