Hi everyone. Today's card has a new-to-me stamp that I bought recently. I think wisteria is so beautiful and romantic.
It didn't take me long to watercolour this. The most time was spent on what colour my card stock would be. :) I used wisteria wonder from Stampin' Up! The colour in the photo above is not exactly as it is in real life, but as close as I could get.
The wisteria is stamped in archival shadow gray (light gray) and is painted with a mix of two distress inks: wilted violet and broken glass. I mixed them on my palette so it was easy to do. Added just a little bundled sage for the leaves (love this colour, which I have never used before!). And some brushed cordoroy was used for the branch at the top. The sentiment is stamped with Versamark and heat embossed in white.

Great mixing of the colours to achieve such a beautiful shade for the pretty wisteria's Loll.....That was handy that the card stock was called Wisteria Wonder.....LOL x Such a beautiful card x
Absolutely lovely!! I have only a few sheets of Wisteria Wonder that I am hording. :-)
Some fabulous watercolouring and mixing of colours Loll, and the shade of background card goes beautifully, and the white stamped sentiment looks great. I think there is nothing lovelier than to see a wall or pergola covered with a mass of them as the colour is stunning. x
There is just something soft and dreamy about Wisteria and you've captured that in your watercoloring, Loll. Thanks for sharing your card with us at The Flower Challenge.
Gorgeous Wisteria blooms so beautifully watercolored with your Distress Inks, Loll. I love how you chose Wisteria Wonder for your "White" space. Sucha a wonderful and thoughtful card my friend. TFS Hugs..Nancy
What a wonderful card Loll, and awesome colouring of the wisteria!! Love hte final card with the white sentiment.
It's a plant that can run rampart here - I have had to remove a white one, and I have seen others have to remove them as they become so invasive!
Blessings

Wow, this is gorgeous, Loll! Thanks for sharing how you created the look. Just beautiful!
Lovely color and so soft and pretty! A fabulous card, Loll!!
This wisteria is so dainty, Loll! You have captured the flower perfectly!
So pretty Loll, wonderful colouring of the wisteria. I love all the shades.
Wonderful watercoloured Wisteria on Wisteria Wonder cardstock, Loll. Did I nail the alliteration? 😉 Another beautiful floral card. xx
Beautifully watercolored wisteria, Loll! This card somehow looks very Asian, like a paining on china plate or scroll.
The Wisterial Wonder is a perfect choice for the card base! It would take me a looong time to pick the color and I can't think of a better choice.
Hideko xx
Such a dreamy card. The dark card base truly makes this beauty pop. Definitely filled with love. The shadow gray stamping is such a great idea. xx
Beautiful watercoloring on your Wisteria, Loll! I love that you stamped it with light gray ink, too...it works so well with those pretty flower petals! Another gorgeous floral card! xx
So soft and dreamy, Loll ... love how the card base matches your gorgeous colouring on these fabulous wisteria! Hugs, Anita :)
Loll, Wisteria is one of the most gorgeous flowers growing in the South, my husband and I have been to New Orleans twice and the cascading blooms with their beautiful perfume are really a sight to see and smell.
Your card reminds me of these trips, beautifully water colored in the most perfect CAS design.
Thank you for sharing with us at THE FLOWER CHALLENGE.
Hugs.
