Sharing two cards I made a while ago using the same stamp set. The one above is coloured with Prismacolor pencils.
Stamped the leaf image a few times in soft brown on kraft paper for my main panel. Stamped another leaf on a scrap of kraft and used my pencils to colours the leaves. Fussy-cut leaf (it was a bit challenging) and adhered on top. Stamped the sentiment in same ink as background leaves to pull it all together.
The second card ...
Started by adding white embossing paste through a tiny dot stencil for the background. Stamped two leaves in kraft ink and heat embossed in clear. Fussy-cut both leaves and smooshed in distress inks. Cut a small strip of cork and stamped the sentiment on top. Popped up the cork over the embossed background and tucked the stems of the leaves in behind.
Thanks for stopping by!

Two beauties for sure! I really like the addition of the cork in the 2nd card too. Bought some a few years ago and never think to use it! But anyway, lovely, lovely cards my friend! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards, Loll. I love how you've used the same leaf stamp for the background and the fussy cut leaf on the first card. Your second card is so striking and I love the addition of the cork. xx
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are beautiful Loll, and I love the first with the background outline leaves which make a great backdrop to the prettily pencil coloured and fusssy cut leaf over the top, and the second card has lots of wonderful texture with the dots stencil with white paste and the sentiment on cork, and then the beautiful bright leaves smooshed with distress inks look fabulous over the top. Have a lovely break which you really deserve as you are always so busy with everything throughout the year. x
