Today is all about gray. I used a beautiful Penny Black flower stamp called together, inked it lightly with smoky slate ink, spritzed with a little water, and stamped onto mixed media paper. I repeated the process, this time using a darker shade of gray (basic gray) to give some contrast. The watercoloured panel was adhered to a light gray card base and framed with the same gray. I thought this would be a beautiful sympathy card, adding my sentiment in versamark and heat embossing in white.

These look glorious in grey Loll and the white sentiment works well against the grey frame and background card. I love the way their is beautiful variation of tone in the flowers too. x
Really, really beautiful, Loll. Those grays speak directly to my heart, and your images look just lovely and comforting. This is a perfect sympathy card, as much as we hate to have to use them, this will offer sincere condolences. Love this one. xo Bev

This does make a beautiful sympathy card, Loll! It's so soothing with the soft gray and the darker gray adds lots of interest! I hadn't thought to do this stamp in gray, but I'll be remembering to do that (I hope).

This is such a beautiful and serene sympathy card Loll. I love the soft colors of the gray-so peaceful and I am loving that beautiful flower. I will have to keep this idea in my mind and of course pin your card as I love the monochromatic color and watercolor so will have to give this one a try for sure when life allows me to do so. Hugs, Brenda
Very beautiful. Thank you for explaining how you made this card.
Such a beautiful card! I love the monochrome character of the card, you have perfectly chosen the ink and color of the card panel. I also love that you did a little smaller panel size, which creates an elegant frame
