Hi everyone. Today is the reminder for CAS Christmas November Challenge - Warm and Cozy, hosted by the super talented Trina.
I used an old stamp I've had for at least 15-20 years, but haven't inked up for almost that many years. This is from Stampscapes and it's such a lovely image to watercolour. I added snow to the ground, cabin, and on the trees, as well as falling from the sky. It looks so cold!! I thought being inside with the fire roaring would definitely be warm and cozy. I added a small chimney to the cabin and some smoke rising, but it's hard to see. :) I was so surprised to find a sentiment stamp that matched the challenge. :)

I hope you'll check out the challenge blog to see the reminder cards from our wonderful Guest Designer, Bobby ... as well as the lovely cards from our Designers. There's still a week left to play along before the challenge closes on Nov. 24th.
Hope to see you in the gallery!

It definitely looks warm & cozy inside your cabin, Loll! Beautifully watercolored and I love how you added the chimney and smoke to your scene! Lucky you to have the perfect sentiment, too ~ Barb xx
Warm and cozy indeed! A very pretty scene with the wonderful cabin! Beautiful color!! Well done, Loll!!
Love your snowy cabin landscape Loll, beautifully watercoloured and I did notice your smoke and how wonderfully warm and cozy it is to have an open log fire to cozy up to with a book and a hot drink... conjures lots of memories, fabulous card..hugs Robyn
What a wonderful, Christmas-y watercolored scene, Loll. I wouldn't mind living there - minus the snow of course.
I bet it's lovely and cosy inside your little cabin .... what a gorgeous spot!
A beautifully coloured card xx
Way to dust off that stamp and put it to good use, Loll. I can’t imagine keeping a stamp for that long. Your watercoloured is beautiful as always. The design is picture perfect.
I always love your watercoloring and this scene is definitely a warm and cozy one. Love your added chimney and smoke.
Beautiful image Loll, it certainly would be warm and cozy by the fire inside. Fantastic water colouring of such a beautiful scene :)
Who wouldn't want to be inside next to that roaring log fire Loll, and love the way you have coloured this pretty snowy scene. x
Such an appealing cabin - I'd be happy to be in there beside the fire with a book, some knitting, a cup of tea! Great watercolouring and framing, and of course, the perfect sentiment!
Your water coloring is SO impressive on this detailed stamp! I would hesitate to even try that. I do love Stampscapes! What caught my eye on this is the fantastic way you added shading to those trees. This is so well done, Loll.
This is such a pretty stamp and perfect for a warm cozy feeling, my friend! The smoke coming from the chimney means a crackling fire inside and a beautiful scene through the windows!
What a wonderful image to water color Loll, and it definitely looks warm and cozy to me too! I can totally see the smoke rising from the chimney and that lets me know it truly is warm and cozy inside, and after the weather we've had this past week, it truly does look inviting!! Lovely, lovely card! :0)
As always, beautiful coloring with the watercolors and adding your very own chimney for the warm effect! Glad you pulled it out of the retirement and used this stamp again!
That is one amazing stamp Loll, and you have made a gorgeous scene with it - you must use it more often :)
Blessings
Maxine
This little scene just shouts warm and cosy! It remids me of coming back home after taking the dog for a walk and seeing the wood smoke rising from the flue and the thought of a welcome warm up by it. :)
Okay, you need to frame this and have it out during the winter. It is so beautiful! Or if you don't do that, the recipient does. It sure looks like a beautiful piece of artwork to me. Wow!
This is a darling scene!! and so very warm and cozy!!
Have a wonderful week : )
Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful.
This is terrific, and certainly doesn't look like a stamp! The smoke rising, is wonderful too for the scene
sweet holiday card...wonderfully coloured.
xx Karen
Always good to use older stamps and a perfect one for the warm and cozy theme. A fabulous little scene Loll and your card looks like a little work of art x.
Loll, love your little cozy lake cabin. Looks so inviting.
Beautiful cabin scene in the frame, Loll - just love your coloring!!
I love this card, Loll! I can tell why this stamp survived all your purges! ;-) It does have a warm and cozy feeling.
Your watercoloring is simply beautiful, and and what a wonderful idea to added a chimney and some smoke (and you painted them so well). That makes a big difference!
Great work, my friend!
Hideko xx
It's always fun to ink up an old stamp isn't it and give it a fresh look. Your cosy cabin looks SO inviting with its smoke rising from what I imagine to be a crackling fire. Love the snow effect you've created too. Vicky x
WOW! Your card is a perfect combination of image and sentiment. I love this house lost in the woods, it's my dream to spend New Year's night. A beautiful card
