Hi everyone. Today is the start of Rudolph Days. The challenge runs from the 25th to end of month and it's anything goes - Christmas.
Today's card uses one of my favourite poinsettia images. I LOVE this spray from Avery Elle. There are a few different stamps in the set and there's matching dies too!
Watercoloured the poinsettia spray with Stampin' Up! inks and Distress Inks on mixed media paper; then splattered with diluted white acrylic paint. Cut out with the die and popped it over top of a dry embossed snowflake background that I received AGES ago from my dear friend Susan. Finished the card with the white heat embossed black banner.

Thanks for coming by for a visit!

Simply beautiful Loll. There's nothing quite like a poinsettia on a Christmas card. Gorgeous ef too. The white splatters shows just a hint of snow.
What a pretty poinsettia with the holly and berries and love the colours you have used Loll, especially the wonderful blue berries which work beautifully and the background snowflake embossing looks great with it too. x
This is a beautiful poinsettia, Loll, and perfectly colored and spattered! Love the embossed snowflakes that add subtle texture!
Oh, so pretty! Wonderful embossed background! And, love the beautiful poinsettia!
Such a beautiful spray of poinsettias, holly, and berries - and wonderfully coloured with great splattering. Love it against the embossed snowflake background!
How I love the deep red you achieved with watercolors, Loll! That's a hard one. Beautifully colored and love the white spatter suggestive of snow. The embossed card base is so perfect on this!
I think this card is so YOU and I love it, Loll! The poinsettias are colored beautifully and the diluted white acrylic paint spatters are perfect. They make a big difference and add a winter/snowy feeling to the card. The dry-embossed snowflake background is just right to add subtle interest and dimension.

Beautifully watercolored poinsettia spray, Loll. Love how you added the acrylic white splatters and dry embossed snow background and heat embossed sentiment too. TFS my friend. Hugs..Nancy
Exquisitely coloured image Loll, and a beautiful card!

Love the embossed background to that fab cluster of poinsettias. The splashes look like snow melting.
Treated myself to a real one before the holidays, trying to keep it in good health, so far so good but whether it will last 'til next year, I don't know. :)
Absolutely gorgeous Loll! love the splatters...
This is simply stunning Loll! I am loving that poinsettia spray too, but just looking at the stamp set it didn't really grab me. Seeing it all colored up by you and I'm loving it! Looks so great die cut out and popped up on your beautiful embossed background. Stunning! Hugs, Brenda
Forever and a day, dry embossing still does it for me, Loll! Such a gorgeous, snowy backdrop for your Poinsettia - isn't it amazing they are a tropical flower?!
I haven't heard of Rudolph Days - off to visit!

This is so vibrant and just jumps off the card. The berries tucked in look so pretty and that embossing folder has lovely big snowflakes. The white paint gave it dimension.
I love the contrast on this card. Bold and strong colors look stunning against a white embossed background. A fantastic card

Marvellous colouring and the poinsettia bouquet is fabulous. Great texture from the embossing folder and the pop of black from the sentiment strip is perfect. Such a beautiful card Loll x.
Absolutely beautiful Loll! That Poinsettia image is one of my favorites too and it looks so lovely against the white embossed snowflakes! CAS perfection!! Hugs. :0)
Bright and cheery. I love the card. Perfect embossed background.
Beautiful card, Lol. I love this image and the diluted white paint is perfect finely splattered across your image. Gives it such a nice look!
Thanks for taking part in the January Rudolph Days Challenge.
So pretty Loll, I love that poinsettia and berry spray. The snowflake texture is the perfect background :)
Stunning, Loll, and it's easy to see why this is one of your fave images!
You have matched your die to the stamped image so well. I am not very clever at that, though hopefully I am improving with practice! It is the perfect image for this style of card, and the embossing on the background really makes it pop well. Kate x
Wonderful coloring methods, Loll, and the result is stunning. A beautiful Christmas card. The colors just pop. Hugz
Such a gorgeous card Lol.

Gorgeous with your watercolored and splattered poinsettia spray on the embossed card base. So nice to have the die for it. I love matching dies, sigh. All that Christmas card making got to me last year, but I know I need to get started. Thanks for this, Loll!

Such an immensely lovely card. I'm smitten with the frosty blue hue of the berries - they deepen the sense of wintertime here all the more.
