I have had the stencil used in the above card for a couple of years or more ... and I'm ashamed to say this is it's first outting! :) I heat embossed through a strip of the stencil in white and then dripped wet watercolours along the edge, using a water brush to spread. I just love this colour combination as it definitely says Spring is here (or near!). :) I added a simple silhouette daisy die-cut (shaped with my stylus and mat), and a black sentiment.

How clever you are. 2 very different cards using the same stencil and the same technique, I love it. The black silhouette daisy works brilliantly against the bright colours on the first card and the sea is really effective on the second with the lovely contrast from orange octopus finishing it off perfectly xx

Wonderful bright colors on your first card with the great contrasting black cone flower Loll - and that octopus just cracks me up - how cute is that in bright orange with his spots! You created the perfect ocean for him to be swimming in! xx

Oh wow! I love both cards and love the use of that stencil. The strip of color looks wonderful behind a silhouette flower and I love the scene of the sea with the so cute octopus. Both cards are beautifully done, Loll. Great design and execution!

I was thinking too, that the stencil you used on the daisy could be used for waves as well and low and behold, you had an ocean card! lol That octopus is cute and the only one I want to be close to. lol He looks great with the stencil and I love his coloring.
