Hi everyone. Today is the reminders for all the CAS Challenges. First up, CAS Mix Up

CAS Watercolour March challenge. I bought some daisies one year that were called "Irish Eyes" because the center was bright green. They didn't last in my garden over the winter, but I thought of them when I made this card. I took artistic license with my daisies as they are yellow in real life. :)
Stamped the image in grey shadow archival ink. Watercoloured using distress inks to add a little bit of colour here and there. Used smoky slate (gray) ink from SU! to watercolour a shadow on the wall and ground.
Colleen is our host.
CAS Christmas March Challenge. Stamped this beautiful poinsettia image onto mixed media paper and heat embossed in silver. The sentiment is silver embossed as well. Watercoloured the image with distress inks, splattering some of the red ink to finish the design.

CAS Stencil March Challenge. Made a stencil out of a Penny Black leaf die and sprayed it with Pixie spray so it would stick to the watercoloured background that was not completely flat (from my stash of backgrounds). Sponged two shades of green distress ink and then sprinkled with clear embossing powder. Heat set and repeated. Still not shiny enough for me, so added a melted layer of UTEE- perfect! Cut my panel to size to fit inside the frame, popped up on foam and added a small stamped sentiment banner. Showing you the above shot so you can see the shine from the embossing. Oh, and don't use Pixie Spray when heat embossing over top. It leaves a sticky residue and the embossing powder sticks to everything ... guess how I know that?? :) Always learning. :)

I hope you'll check out the challenge blogs to see the amazing cards from our Designers, Guest Designers, and participants. If you haven't had time to play along, there's over a week left before all four challenges close on 24th at midnight PDST. Come join us!

Loll, 4 lovely cards. Your poinsettia is watercoloured so beautifully.
Wow..What a treat to open your blog and discover "FOUR" beauties, my friend:-) I LOVED all 4 of your cards and they were so different and yet all Clean and Simple:-)
Loved your 1st artsy acrylic card. I think I have that stamp? Perfect for your acrylic technique.
Your Luck of the Irish is so pretty and sweet. Beautiful watercoloring, my friend.
LOVED your pretty Poinsettia Christmas card. Simply beautiful Winter flower card!
OMG..Your shiny heat embossed stenciled leaves Pop right off the card...Wow! Love the die cut frame too! TFS all your beauties, my friend. Hugs, Nancy
Oh Lolly!!!! What a lovely 'Lolly-style' post for me to sit and read through.
Acrylic, watercolour, yummy red flower and stencilling - lots of brilliant techniques!
Gorgeous makes my friend. xx
4 wonderful cards but I particularly like your water coloured daisies and your embossed stencilled leave, you really did achieve some great shine xx
Such a beautiful and inspirational set of cards.

WOW Loll! Love this one. I do like seeing your cards when you are outside your comfort zone and this one fits the bill. It's been a long time since I did something like this but you did just inspire me. How fun this one is and I love those colors. I too had issues with Liquitex paints separating or worse, just plain got hard.
what a great set of cards Loll! You're right - the first card is SO unlike you -and wonderful in it's rusty look - it's nice to break out of our 'standard' creative style once in a while! Love your beautiful white and green daisies - what a lovely stamp with the window frame just on 2 sides and fading out on the ends. Your poinsettia is so pretty with that bit of splatter and I love the glossy embossed green leaves and pretty framing in your stencil card! xx
Loll, wow... what a delight-filled post!! I love each card, and think you are having no problem staying in … I'm not either!
I once bought those Irish eyes daisies, too! They never came back, so I guess they were an annual in my Zone - but they sure were sweet!

Love every single one of your CAS challenge cards, Loll.
As always, every one of your cards are absolutely gorgeous, Loll! Really beautiful watercoloring and I love how you added the shadows to the wall and ground on your 'daisy' card! I also love your stenciled vines and I think adding a melted layer of UTEE worked out perfectly...the shine is amazing! Barb xx
Wonderful selection of cards, my friend! Sounds like your stencil is shiny where mine is gold. Live and learn!
four amazing cards Loll, my favourite is the totally artsy acrylic card- love those colours.
your poinsettia is so beautiful and love the addition of the splatters :)
Four fabulous cards, Loll - you've been busy!! Just love them all but my eye really went to the embossed green leafy sprig surrounded by turquoise!!
All 4 cards are fabulous, Loll!
The acrylic paint backdrop is so cool and artsy. The sentiment is perfect for this. I love this card!
The white daisies looks so pretty and fresh with the green and the greenish blue, and the red poinsettia looks gorgeous. The fine spatters bring the flower to life. The heat-embossed leaves are so shiny and the background goes so well with the leaf colors. The new PB die frames the leaves perfectly.
Hideko xx
Three fantastic cards, but I gotta say those Irish Eyes stole my heart! Love 'em
I just love those neutrals in the acrylic partnered with the perfect sentiment! Your green centred daisies are so sweet and the other 2 cards are equally impressive!!!
Four great cards Loll, you are certainly stretching my ideas about CAS design! Shame most of my acrylic tubes are solid! :)
Terrific makes here Loll... I love the arty acrylic card and the perfect words for it...Beautiful watercoloured daisies as a complete contrast in your 2nd card. Stunning Christmas Poinsettia and then the lushest of leaves to follow... Wow!
Hi Lol,
Can you please explain how you made your own stencil and what you used to cut the stencil out of?
I love the simplicity of your work and how you always achieve such stunning backgrounds.
Greetings from sunny South Africa.
Lorraine Briel
Fabulous cards Loll, I especially love the leaf heat embossed card. The shine is fabulous.
Four FABULOUS cards Loll! I'm particularly intrigued by your acrylic paint card...so cool! Love your Poinsettia card too with the red and silver...SOOOOO elegant! And those Irish eyed daisies are so sweet and totally make me smile! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! :0)
Good for you, Loll, stepping outside of your comfort zone and using the acrylic paints - I know you're not a fan of them!! Love what you did with the mix of colours and the method you used. It will be a perfect birthday card for Jeremy!
Your blue and green watercolour card is so pretty - such refreshing colours (they remind me of a dress I had as a teenager - I loved its colours and flower print).
Your CAS Christmas card is fabulous. I have that stamp but never think to stamp it off the edge (I really must step out of my comfort zone of always having images centred or symmetrical!). Love the red splatters!
And your heat embossed stenciling is again those colours I love together!
Phew - what a great batch of cards!
Gorgeous results on these four cards Loll and the three different acrylics dragged across the card look great and go perfectly with the strong look of the sentiment, then seet daisies in a vase, so soft and pretty, and your poinsettia is stunning and lastly the oh so shiny leaves against that pretty blue background are just fabulous. x
What a fantastic foursome of pretty cards - each one done beautifully! I'm especially fond of the green stem and how it shines! Nice job on all!
all are so gorgeous and well done.
I really wish I had more time to create, you inspire us!!
xx Karen
That first card is so cool and artsy, Loll ... and how lovely are the remaining three ... they're just so bright and pretty! Hugs, Anita :)
Wow Loll, such beautiful cards! I love the artsy feel of the first one. I've seen this technique done and it is beautiful. I just love the colors you used on this one, might have been a different style for you, but I can still "see" your style in it. If that makes sense! lol I love the daisy card, it is just stunning! I've not heard of these daisies before, will have to look them up. They sound so beautiful, I love yellow in the garden. Then there is your Christmas card, that poinsettia is fabulous and I love that you made it red with red splatters. So pretty! The heat embossing stencil card is amazing, loving that shine and depth you got with the UTEE, love that background too and the green just pops off it. A color combo I love. No card making here, Bret working from home, keep dogs quite so he can do his phone calls/conference calls, etc...Hugs, Brenda
Wow! Look at all those challenges and each one represented by a totally gorgeous card! Really loving those sweet daisies and the glossy green stenciled leaves especially.
WOW! Your cards are so amazing, Loll. I love each of them, they are so different and unique. I love how you create your beautiful backgrounds.
I hope you stay away from strangers, Loll. Take care of yourself please.
Hugs,
BożenA
The first acrylic card is so artsy and wonderfully masculine with great colours even if some had separated....Jer will love it x. Such a delicate watercoloured card and so pretty and artistic licence is fine by me....x. A stunning Christmas card with great splats and the prettiest of poinsettia x. Wow to the Thanks card Loll....Love the UTEE effect and what a stunner of a card x.....Thank you for the tip about the spray x. Glorious cards and inspiration Loll.....Thank you x.
What a unique card your acrylic paint technique made. It looks so rustic like a sign from long ago. The others are so pretty, I love the Irish daisies.
4 wonderful cards Loll, love the rusty artsy acrylic paint look! Your heat embossing looks like glass leaves, beautiful effect, Cathy x
OMG you are more than busy. Four incredible designs.
What a lush earthy colour mix, so so rich. The quote is more than appropriate.
Your Irish Eyes marguerites stamped and left in grey is so smart. The aqua blue makes it even more interesting.
Love the splatters on the silver heat embossed poinsettia. Such a rich red ink.
Those enamel leaves do shine against that background. Glad you made a stencil, this really special.
All beautiful cards dear friend! xx
WOW four fabulous cards Loll, they're all gorgeous but I'm loving the watercoloured 'Irish Eyes' - a very pretty card, hugs Robyn
So behind on this post, but so glad I finally came by to see this inspiring group of cards. The acrylic card is artsy and unique. Your poinsettia is beautiful... big fan of off-the-edge designs.
Hope you are doing well.
