Hi everyone. Welcome to the start of the April CAS Christmas challenge! This month is hosted by Bonnie (Stamping with Klass), and she wants you to base your CAS card on a Christmas Song! Fun, right??!! :) So I'm Decking the Halls .... FA LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA!
And we are excited to have Birgit (Rapport fran ett skrivbord) Guest Designing for us again this month. Welcome Birgit!

Close-up ...
Decided to do a second card, this time watercolouring with lighter colours ...
This one was tricker to watercolour because Jessie stole my favourite water brush off my work desk between me making these two cards. She chewed it until I could just barely tell what it was. Into the garbage it went (the water brush that is). :)
... and close-up ...
Hope you'll come play along and build your stash of Christmas cards throughout the year.
As I mentioned above, this is a NBUS stamp, so I'm entering my card into Darnell's new NBUS Challenge! I'm so excited to see this challenge has returned. I know I'll be playing along a lot as I have three, yes three, containers of NBUS items to use! :)
Thanks Dolly!!

What a fun stamp Loll, great cards. xx
ReplyDeleteGlad you clarified it was the water brush and not Jessie that you threw away in the garbage. 😂 That stamp image is adorable. Since both colour pallets are non-traditional, love them both.
ReplyDeleteLoll this is such a darling Christmas card design. Beautifully colored too.
ReplyDeleteMakes you wonder how you could have left them NBUS all this time. I'm always shaking my head at myself. These carolers are darling. Love them colored both ways!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...your little caroling snowmen are adorable, Loll! Beautiful watercoloring, too...I love both cards!
ReplyDeleteYou have three containers of NBUS items? Oh my...it sounds like you'll be enjoying Darnell's challenge :) Take care, my friend ~ xx
having seen Jessie in your craft room I can just imagine Jessie and the watercolour brush:)
ReplyDeleteLove those fun images of snowmen singing :)
Fabulous fun colourful and happy little snowmen here Loll. Love both cards.
ReplyDeletePerfect stamp for the challenge, Loll!! Love those fun fellows singing their hearts out. I really like both colour variations.
ReplyDeleteAs for that rascal Jessie - somehow it always is the favourite one of something they decide to steal and destroy!
Amazing how different your 2 cards looked just by changing from darker to lighter colors. Love them both! I am excited about Dolly's NBUS challenge being started up again, too:-) I loved Bonnie's challenge and plan to play:-) Love and Hugs...Nancy
ReplyDeleteOh dear, even things on your desk are not safe from curious Jessie...I bet it made a good teething toy for at least a minute:-)
Oh what cheery chaps those caroling snowmen are Loll - loving both your cards, especially the second one
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings
Maxine
I’m amazed at the rich color you achieve from distress inks. They are so bold and bright! And of course you do such a fabulous job of it. This image just make me smile too. Great card, Loll!
ReplyDeleteFa la labulous, Loll! Another new-to-me stamp - love them both!
ReplyDelete=]
These are such happy cards. I love them both and they made me smile because they look like they are having such a good time singing. I do like the pastel colors on the second card and the bright colors on the first one.
ReplyDeleteThese 2 cards just totally made me smile from ear to ear Loll...what an absolutely ADORABLE image and you've water colored them both just beautifully! (even without your favorite brush...glad to hear you didn't throw Jessie out!!) Cute, CUTE cards and perfect for this challenge!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteBoth versions of the happy singing snowmen are fabulous and what a great time they are having signing their little hearts out x. I am so glad that Jessie didn't go in the bin Loll......LOL x.
ReplyDeleteThese are such joyful cards.
ReplyDeleteKeep safe and well.

They might as well be saying Ha Ha Ha, Lolly, because that's what I did when I saw them - I mean, who wouldn't! Everybody should be as happy as these pudgy little snow peeples! I thank you for the much needed laugh today! I really like both colored versions and I'll bet they're adorable even in black/white. As for Jessie, I hope she didn't hurt her tummy tackling that water brush.🐶It's like having a toddler! Take care, be safe, and thank you for sharing at NBUS! Hugs, Dolly
ReplyDeleteThese caroling snow people are adorable, Loll! I love both versions and will be singing Deck the Halls now!
ReplyDeleteThese caroling snowmen are so cute and make me smile, Loll! Beautiful coloring of both cards. Curious Jessie is just like a little kid, isn't she? ;-)

They make me want to sing along, Loll. Sorry about your water brush.
ReplyDeleteWonderful singing snowmen! Love them singing at the top of their lungs, something I love to do but others don't seem to like it so much :o)
ReplyDeleteBoth these groups of singing snowmen are adorable, Loll! Both colour combo's are delicious ... I'm especially partial to the second one with the cool, frosty colours ... suits them so well! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun challenge. This is definitely a cheery bunch singing the perfect song. Both are in great colours xx
