Hi everyone. Today I'm sharing my DT card for the CAS Watercolour April Challenge hosted by the lovely Susan (Cardmaker's Garret). Susan wants us to watercolour Spring Flowers. YAY! As some of you know, flowers are my FAVOURITE to watercolour! Susan wants us to use only spring flowers, so please think snowdrops, daffodils, tulips, crocuses, apple and cherry blossom, dogwood, etc.
We are so excited to have Vicky (Crafting Clare's Paper Moments) as our Guest Designer this month!

I started by heat embossing my flowers with liquid platinum embossing powder. Used distress inks to watercolour the blooms and leaves and and then cropped my image with a pretty frame. I've added the sentiment at the bottom, heat embossed in the same colour.

I hope you'll create a CAS card with the main feature of watercoloured spring flowers. Then join in by clicking on the link on the challenge blog. Hope to see you in the gallery!

Gorgeous cherry blossom Loll and love the PB die cut frame, so fresh and pretty and the platinum embossing really complements it. We have quite a bit of cherry blossom over here and such a shame it only blooms briefly, but is really beautiful while it is. x
I love cherry blossoms Loll. We had a very big tree in my childhood garden and I used to sit under it when the blossoms began to drop and pretend I was a bride at a wedding being showered with confetti petals!!!
Beautiful card. x
Lovely card!
Oh Loll, I love the cherry trees in bloom - we have tons of them here, but it's too soon for blooming, and too blooming cold yet!!
I just love this sweet card, with the embossed cherry blossoms, and that fancy PB panel!

Beautifully painted, so eye catching gorgeous! Love that soft colors and that fabulous frame! Your watercoloring is a joy to see!
Your cards are always beautiful. I like your choice of Liquid Platinum embossing powder.
Beautiful heat embossed and delicately colored cherry blossoms, my friend. We have several varieties of flowering cherry trees so we get about a month of blooms:-) We have 3 varieties blooming now and our Japanese cherry trees bloom last and are about ready to start blooming. The hummingbirds and bees love them too:-) Loved your die cut frame and heat embossed sentiment too. TFS Love and Hugs...Nancy

Cherry blossoms are so pretty and I wish they lasted longer than a couple of weeks. Love that frame... it drew me in to your beautifully watercolored (as usual) blossoms.

Delicate coloring, delicate flower, wonderful frame choice. This makes me smile. Thank you.
This is just as pretty as the real thing! My cherry tree usually blooms in May, if I remember correctly. It's so brief and then the ground turns pink when the blooms drop.
Beeeeeeeeeautiful Loll and beautifully coloured. Just gorgeous.
